“Decent” Wreck Section
Crashing sucks, but it’s hard not to watch somebody else do it…
Snakebite coming through with another section from the “Decent” video for your viewing pleasure. This time around, we get one of the ever popular crash sections that are always hard to look away from and even harder to stop yourself from laughing, swearing, making a weird “OOOOOOH” sound or a combination of all three. The wreck section from “Decent” has BMX crashes from street missions and skatepark sessions. This one isn’t too gorey, it looks like maybe one or two T.K.O’s, but overall pretty tame for a crash section… Which is a good thing if you are one of the guys filming for the video, right? Hit play and check it out!
Adam Perez “Decent” Section
Snaktebite are always uploading some serious goodies from the past. Here’s another example for your viewing pleasure! This time around we get a look at Adam Perez‘s section from the “Decent” video that is a mix of park and street action, with a good mix of tricks and style. Anyone else notice that massive sprocket and what appears to be a chrome Alex Triple Wall in the back? Classics.
“Adam holds it down on some NW concrete and streets in his part from the Eugene area midschool classic ‘Decent’.”
411 Rookies Bio – Justin Inman (2002)
It’s hard to imagine the word “Rookie” with Justin Inman, but waaaay back in 2002 he was just getting started with his Pro career and it’s safe to say he was crushing it! Snakebite released his Rookies Bio that 411 Video Magazine did that year, and it’s so damn good. Enjoy!
“411 was a skateboard video mag that tried competing with Props back in the early 2000’s which didn’t last long. Here is a Justin Inman bio that came out not to long after his full part dropped in Blueprint. Give this one a watch to see one of the most stylish riders in his early days.” – Snakebite
Snakebite – Scott Hagnas: Flatland at 50 Years Old
There aren’t too many BMX riders that have hit the Level 5 mark and are still able to ride, but believe it or not, there are a few guys out there that are continuing to ride and progress into new age ranges we haven’t seen much of in the past since BMX is still pretty young. Here’s a rad video we spotted over on Snaktebite featuring 50 Year Old Scott Hagnas riding flatland, and riding really well! It’s safe to say all those years of experience have lead to a deep bag of tricks and he’s still adding to that bag! Stoked on this for sure! Enjoy!
“Here’s an edit I put together this fall, following my 50th birthday. I rode from 1982 to 2007 very consistently, but by 2008 my elbows were in chronic pain from riding. Also, I got married and started my own business, so I ended up in a period of semi-retirement from BMX. I still rode between 2008-2015, but only like once every two or three months. All the time off the bike didn’t help the elbows at all, and no doctor or therapist had the answer either.
As I own a training facility, I spent my time pursuing other physical goals like improving my movement ability, strength, and conditioning. I finally solved the riddle of my elbow pain in 2015 and re-dedicated myself to the bike in spring of 2016. I am so thankful to still have fun riding and learning new things. This edit is all of either things I learned new this year, or a new spin on something I did in the past. There are a few works in progress in here also, but I wanted to get it done and onward to 2017!
Thanks to Joe Loumena and Shad Johnson & Snakebite BMX for your help!” – Scott Hagnas
Kyle Harris and Chris Akin 2016 Video
The crew at Snakebite dropped a new video that will get your blood flowing for sure! Here’s a new mix of footage from Kyle Harris and Chris Akin absolutely SLAYING skateparks and street spots. Both of these guys bring a ton of speed and style to the table and know a thing or two about a cranked turndown and super stylish whip. These guys aren’t scared to send it down some MASSIVE rails, too. Highly advise you give this one a watch!
“Kyle Harris & Chris Akin are Southern Oregon raised and keep that roast alive on all the aging concrete parks in that area. Just like Josh White who grew up in the same area 30 years earlier. This area breeds that good style with a fearless approach.“
“Blueprint” – Friends Section #2
Snakebite have released another section from the “Blueprint” video online for your viewing pleasure. This has a few Northwest legends along with straight up legends like Taj Mihelich getting down on street spots, skateparks, trails and more! Hit play and enjoy! Good vibes for sure.
“Derrick Hughes, Austin Helmer, Taj Mihelich, James Potter, Ben Hucke, Forrest Berkey, Mike Lund, Jeremy Croft, & Brennan Britton all hold it down in the second friends part in Blueprint!“
