The second podcast from Snakebite BMX Podcast is now live! This time around Shad Johnson catches up with Jimmy Levan to talk about a TON of different things from what’s new to his deep history in BMX. This is one of those podcasts you do NOT want to miss. Shout out to DIG for making this happen.
It has been quite a while since we have seen Davey Watson’s name pop up and we’re really not sure what he has been doing lately… However, the guys over at Snakebite caught up with him in Portland recently and snapped a few photos of his current Skavenger setup that he’s running. The reason he’s not running grips is pretty interesting… Go check out that bike check right here.
Shad Johnson just started uploading sections from the old “Blueprint” video that came out way back in 2001! This is Lou Rajsich’s section that’s packed full of amazing street and ramp riding that is well worth checking out! It’s awesome seeing the big sprocket he’s running in this as well, haha. You can learn more about this BMX video over on the Snakebite site!
“Lou’s progressive part from the 2001 North West classic Blueprint. Filmed between 1998 & 2001.”
Now this is awesome! The guys over at Snakebite are doing a series on the history of Canada’s Basic Bikes! I’d imagine a good number of you probably haven’t heard of the brand, but they were on it during the 90’s and produced some badass frames. Check out part one where they go through the history of their frames and the changes they had over nearly 10 years right here.
