#MySoshUrbanMotion Wild Card Results

The results are in for the wild cards that will be joining Dennis Enarson, Courage Adams and Leo Balay for this years Sosh Urban Motion video contest! There were 71 entries from all over Europe (and it looks like a few places outside of Europe where people didn’t read the rules, haha) and Daniel Portorreal, Mati Lasgoity and Thibaut Delas and their filmers all landed a spot in this years contest! This contest turns out rad every year, so we’re excited to see what comes from it. We’ll keep you posted when we have more for you!

The entries for this years Sosh Urban Motion video contest are starting to pour in and they’re taking submissions until September 30th! This contest is only open to European residents, so if you’re a rider trying to catch a wild card spot for the full video contest in October, you better get to filming! Sosh Urban Motion 2016 Details

The annual Sosh Urban Motion video contest is going down once again! It sounds like this year Arnaud Wolff and Leo Balay, Courage Adams and Cristian Traila and Dennis Enarson and Peter Adam will make up the three pro teams. But this year they have a WILD CARD contest that’s open to 27 countries in the European Union (UK included, don’t worry about that Brexit stuff).

To enter the wild card contest, one rider and one filmer can team up to make their best ONE minute video that you need to upload to Instagram with the hashtag #mysoshurbanmotion BEFORE the September 30th deadline! They will pick one Wild Card team from France and two Wild Card teams from the rest of Europe to compete.

It sounds like the first 15 teams to submit a video will get prizes from the sponsors, so even if you don’t win, you can still win.

Now here is an amazing way to start your Saturday off right! Hadrien Picard sent over Alex Donnachie and Christian Rigal‘s winning part for the Sosh Urban Motion 4 video contest! When you team a rider like Alex up with a filmer like Christian, you know you’re going to end up with an incredible BMX video that you have to see… Even if it’s filmed on cell phone and not Christian’s RED camera! Sosh Urban Motion 4 – Sullyvan Gaincetre X Vincent de la Rue

It’s always rad to see contests that give regular riders the opportunity to compete against the pros. The Sosh Urban Motion contest not only gives “regular” riders and filmers the opportunity to compete against the pros, but it also allows them to really get noticed. This year, Sullyvan Gaincetre and Vincent de la Rue came out swinging for their opportunity and ended up taking home 2nd place in the contest. This is pretty wild since they beat out some well known pro riders and filmers. What’s crazier is that Sullyvan doesn’t have ANY sponsors. We have a feeling that will be changing real soon.

“They had missed the cut last year and had sworn not to make the same mistake this year. After a solid victory in the contest Wild Card, Sullyvan & Vincent surprised us with a video to achieving mastered and mature riding that enabled them to clinch 2nd place, the best place for a Wild Card team since the Sosh Urban Motion. We bet that this place will put a little more light on Sullyvan, already one of the best French riders street, yet no sponsor.”

Sosh Urban Motion 4 – Simone Barraco X Alex Barret

Hadrien Picard sent through the 3rd place video from this years Sosh Urban Motion 4 featuring Simone Barraco by filmer Alex Barret. This section tied with Maxime Charveron and Matthias Dandois, but that’s about the only similarity between the two. As always, Simone crushes the street spots with his insanely technical riding. HIGHLY advise you hit play on this BMX video because you won’t be disappointed.

Sosh Urban Motion 4 – Max Charveron and Matthias Dandois

Maxime Charveron and Matthias Dandois teamed up for this years Sosh Urban Motion 4 video contest. Unlike other teams, these guys got a bright and early start to film and both guys got in front and behind the lens making for a rad split section with a less than serious vibe, but some awesome riding.
