Over the past year or two, Stephan August has been working hard and putting in some serious time on his bike. Here’s his latest BMX video for Merritt which is filled with some damn good riding from start to finish as he puts his pegs to heavy use. Take a look!
“Stephan August is back with his second DIG exclusive of the year, this time in conjunction with sponsor Merritt, and the addition of 4 pegs. Hailing from The Valley, Stephan knocked off some moves near home, criss crossed the greater Long Angeles area, and ventured up north to San Francisco with longtime friend and videographer Chris Bracamonte. He may be a new comer to the peg game, but he’s clearly got a handle on things quickly. We at DIG enjoy that Stephan doesn’t confine himself to the standard mix of ledges and rails, seeking his fair share of interesting roofs, gaps, pools, and more.

Owen Dawson recently spent some time down in California with Division Brand teammate Stephan August cruising some of his local spots. During his stay, Stephan pulled out the camera and Owen went to work stacking clips for this new BMX video. Other than a little bit of crazy filming, this is real solid video from start to finish. This edit features Chad Osburn, Chris Way, Deven Ferrer, Tazz Hernandez, Stephan August, Zack Griffith, Charles, Benjamin Allen, Mat Olson and Cody Anderson and does not disappoint! It has been a while since we’ve seen a BMX video from the Juke crew! Tazz Hernandez and Stephan August have been out on the road cruising from California, to Arizona and Texas hitting up spots and hanging out with riders along the way. Check out the first video that Woozy BMX dropped from their trip giving us a look at some ramps, street and trails action!
“The journey begins.
Left Havasu Arizona to pick up Stephan August and headed to the Sanctuary in Oakhurst California. Spent about a week in Oakhurst and then headed to Albuquerque New Mexico. The Sanctuary is a sort of BMX bed and breakfast equipped with dirt, park and street. Being right next to Yosemite, it’s beautiful out there with a few amazing skateparks in the area. Madera and Mariposa skateparks have a lot to offer if you’re ever in the area.
We spent about 4 days in Albuquerque shredding with DJ Harris. Lil’ Matt and Ryan Pipkin joined up a couple of times for some ventures. DJ is always putting in work, as you will see in the last clip.
We’re in Dallas now. We will be in Texas all of May to get our Juke on! Stay tuned for more Juke Trippin’!”” – Tazz Hernandez
