Empire BMX dropped us a line to let us know they have a brand new Steven Hamilton BMX video for all of us to enjoy! Once again, Steven has come through with some incredible riding and skateboarding on so many different and unique spots. Taking his buttery smooth style with plenty of speed to everything from ledges to big gaps, wall rides and more. There’s a healthy number of fufanus and abubacas spread throughout this as well, which is always a good thing, too. Needless to say, you already know this is one BMX video you cannot miss!
Empire BMX – Steven Hamilton Is Freestyle
When Empire BMX drops us a link to a new BMX video, we know it’s going to be good. When it’s a new Steven Hamilton video, we know we have to hit play the second it loads. Watch as Steven shows you how to ride some spots that a lot of you might roll on past, and just how having a set of brakes can make for some real dialed clips on those spots you might not even try and ride. There’s also an interesting message from Tom at Empire that was in the description, which might open your eyes to the unfortunate side of the circle of BMX that we’ve been seeing lately. Either way, hit play and enjoy. This doesn’t disappoint!
“America 1992
BMX is dead
BMX bicycle sales have reached an all-time low. Large factory teams are a thing of the past. Only a very small number of professional riders remain. Of these riders, only a few receive money from sponsors. A sport that once had five monthly magazines now has one. Contest arenas that were once crowded with spectators are now made up of only the most dedicated riders. Professional freestyle exhibits are nearly non-existent. Many bike shops no longer carry 20” bikes and accessories, because in their eyes, “BMX is dead” – Eddie Roman “Ride On” (1992)
“Sound familiar? Dry your eyes, player. The cycles of BMX are as predictable as they are inevitable. The barren sands of 1992 yielded a harvest of unparalleled creativity and progression, and the reins of BMX were snatched from the stiff hands of bloated corporate corpses from sea to shining sea. Capable and driven individuals and crews like The Condor, Mad Dog, Homeless Bikes, Rick Moliterno, and an elite group of other visionaries fed off of their strong wills, DYI ethos, and love of BMX, deftly laying the path for a generation to come.
To us, Steven is a shining beacon of hope in these turbulent waters, if you will, the hero that BMX needs in this time of confusion and tense unrest. He is a consummate trick technician, with unparalleled spot awareness and a unique style that none can imitate. It is our honor to present this video to you. Enjoy it, and sleep well tonight knowing that while the gravitational pull of change cannot and should not be stopped, Steven will always be standing tall as a bulwark against apathy, despair, and gross style. lol.“
Ambipegstreetest – Steven Hamilton
Damian Racut has released Steven Hamilton‘s section from the Ambipegstreetest BMX video online for your viewing pleasure. This video starts out with one hell of a scorpion and then speeds right back up with some big wall rides and Steven’s unique approach to spots. Damn good from start to finish!
“Hamilton has an undeniable passion for riding. There may be more periods of time where he skates or does whatever he does but he can’t keep away from all those grass bank to walls that Columbus has to offer.

Empire BMX – Steven Hamilton: 15 Second To Life 2
You just know it’s going to be a good day when Empire BMX drops a new BMX video featuring Steven Hamilton! For the second 15 seconds to life video, Steven comes through with over 7 minutes of BMX and skateboarding gold from some of the spots he has been cruising as of late. The sound track is pretty wild as well! Get stoked.
“AKA “Baby This Ain’t Hip-Hop This is My Life 2”
Steven enters the good years in the summertime, barbecuing after work and he’s gotta get a session in. A lot of shit filmed by a lot of people. All Steve can say is thanks to the homies who still shred and no thanks to the fools who don’t. With a new bike from S&M coming soon, and trail season in full bloom, all we can do is wait to see Part 3.”

Lost Chicago Trip
It’s crazy how much footage can just be “missing” on peoples hard drives or locked up on Youtube or Vimeo for one reason or another. We’re not sure why Animal Bikes never ended up using this video, but we’re glad Lino Gonzalez finally released this BMX video online for everyone to enjoy! If you’re looking some street, this is one you gotta check out!
““Clips from Abdul Fofanah, Joe Niranonta, Steven Hamilton, and Lino Gonzalez filmed during a June 2014 trip from NJ to Chicago that was originally for Animal. Stopping in WV, PA, IN, OH, and MI along the way. Abdul’s clips were used for an edit but the majority of what was filmed got lost in translation. This was originally a rough draft edit to show a selected few what happened on the trip”
0:01, 0:19, 0:23, 0:28, 0:36, 0:39, 1:53, 2:06 appear in Abdul Fofanah “Welcome to Animal” edit: vimeo.com/111499124

Empire BMX – Steven Hamilton: 15 Seconds to Life
Empire just dropped this new Steven Hamilton video that we almost expected to be 15 seconds long reading the title… However, that’s not the case! This is much more than 15 seconds of gold featuring Steven riding street spots and skateparks around Columbus, the Mega Cavern Underground Dirt Park and more! Damn good!
“AKA “Baby This Ain’t Hip-Hop, This is My Life”. New edit by Steven Hamilton. New bikes and sessions with the boys, life in his 30’s ain’t so bad. Got the girl on the iPhone gettin’ the clip. What’s next, rollerblades?“
DIG – Rapid Response: Steven Hamilton
DIG caught up with Steven Hamilton for a fresh Rapid Response where he talks influential riders, favorite place to ride these days, getting his license, being sober for 3 years, sponsors and more. It’s so good seeing how much Steven has changed since he’s given up the drugs and alcohol! Also psyched to see he finally got around to learning tailwhips, haha.
Steven Hamilton Bike Check
Wonder what Steven Hamilton is running for a setup these days? The guys at S&M Bikes just dropped this flipbook to give us a closer look at his current Intrikat setup that he is currently setup with! As always, Steven has a pretty unique setup that is far from what the trendy kids are running and we’re more than okay with that! Looks like a sturdy unit to us!
