Sunday Bikes – Erik Elstran “Hometown Quarantimes”

June 26, 2020

We’re huge Erik Elstran fans, so when this new video for Sunday Bikes popped up we were sure today was going to be a good day! Here’s a fresh video Erik whipped up from solo sessions cruising a ton of spots with no shortage of his unique and creative approach to riding and tricks! The riding is amazing and the film work is clean! Do not pass this up!

“Over the years I have spent a decent amount of time riding by myself. BMX is all about the community and sharing the experience with friends, however, riding by yourself provides a different kind of satisfaction. I personally like a balance between the two. While riding solo you have complete control of when/what to ride, and for how long you may want to try one thing. Sure, traveling and exploring new territory is always rad but there is also something to be said about riding familiar terrain and seeing new potential in old spots. Like unlocking new levels in a video game, the more tricks, confidence, and bike control you obtain, the more options you have at a spot.

This quarantine has been a strange time for just about everyone. I’m grateful I was able to spend the onset of it riding a bike (one of the best things you can do for your mental health) at spots I grew up with. Take care of yourself (stran) y’all!

Sunday Bikes “Chapped Clips” BTS

June 16, 2020

Want some more behind the scenes footage? Here’s a look at what the Sunday Bikes squad got into while filming for their “Chapped Clips” video that dropped a few weeks back from their time cruising spots in Las Vegas! This is a bunch of b-roll, second angles, crashes and random clips. There was no shortage of goodness leftover from this trip, so hit play and take it all in. Then go give the full “Chapped Clips” video a watch!

““Just prior to the Coronavirus pandemic gripping almost the entire planet, Sunday took a team trip to Las Vegas, Nevada in the beginning of March for 10 days. While news that events like SXSW had been cancelled hit during the trip, and many more events soon to follow, Vegas was still business as usual at that point. We were fortunate enough to tag along with the crew of Gary Young, Erik Elstran, Alec Siemon, Aaron Ross, Brett Silva, Jared Duncan, Julian Artega, Jake Seeley, Broc Raiford, and the man keeping the all running like clockwork, Zach Krejmas. With a group like this, and all the delectable offerings Vegas provided, the results were awesome. Here’s a little BTS of some of the antics, crashes, awesome moves that didn’t make it into the final video, and pancake-flipping wizardry.” – Dig BMX

Sunday Bikes – Chapped Clips

May 11, 2020

Back before the shut downs and quarantine rules kicked in, the Sunday Bikes squad got a proper team trip in where they spent 10 days in Las Vegas stacking clips galore for this new video filled with dialed riding from the whole squad. They ended up with 15 minutes of pure goodness, so get on that play button because this is a Must See for sure!

“Remember when slappin’ fives was chill and chapped lips was the biggest thing we had to worry about? Back in March we whipped the van out to Las Vegas and flew in the rest of the team for 10 days of amazing spots, good times and dry climates. Everyone’s lips were chapped by day 2. Enjoy Brett Silva, Broc Raiford, Julian Arteaga, Aaron Ross, Gary Young, Erik Elstran, Jake Seeley, Alec Siemon, Jared Duncan and Justin Schual in “Chapped Clips”.

Sunday Bikes 2021 Complete BMX bikes preview

It’s that time of the year when we start seeing some new products start popping up! Sunday Bikes got a jump on their next year models of complete bikes and have released a full preview of their 2021 Complete Bikes that will be landing here in the near future (no word on the exact release date yet). Above is a look at Broc Raiford‘s first signature complete with Sunday, and a few words about the new line below! You can check out ALL of the bikes over on the Sunday Bikes Website giving you a look at every bike in their line up from entry level to top of the line, along with the latest versions of their big bikes as well. As always, they delivered with some great looking bikes! It’s rad to see gyros and brakes making a comeback!

“We are proud to introduce our 2021 Sunday complete bikes. You’ll quickly find that our new line is full of improvements once again this year. We are excited to introduce “Park” models in both the Primer and Forecaster categories. With a model-specific geometry that features accents like a lower standover height and an Odyssey Gyro kit with dual cables top and bottom, both the Primer and Forecaster Park models are built to shred right out of the box.

We are also happy to announce that Broc Raiford recently joined the Sunday Pro Team and we were able to include his signature Forecaster complete bike in the 2021 line. Additional improvements can also be found on our popular High-C 29er bikes. This year’s model features V-brakes, an Avid brake lever, a quick release seat post clamp for 27.2 posts, a revised gear ratio and an all-new handlebar design.

From our entry level 16” Blueprints to our 100% aftermarket Soundwave Special, the entire 2021 line features the vibrant colors and finishes that Sunday is known for and, as always, you can count on the durability, manufacturing quality and modern spec that has made Sunday the go-to brand for riders shopping for a new complete bike. We hope that you’ll enjoy checking out the new Sundays as much as we enjoyed making them. Thank you for your continued support!” – Sunday Bikes

Sunday Bikes – Julian Areteaga “Sniper”

March 23, 2020

Sunday Bikes coming through with a fresh banger of a BMX video featuring Julian Arteaga cruising the streets with his smooth and effortless style. Julian puts all four pegs and his freecoaster to heavy use with precision lines that are too good to miss, and that ender is definitely something you need to see. We’re really digging the filming on this as well. It’s a nice change to see a video that isn’t all up in a riders face with crazy angles.

“SNIPERS. Over 5 minutes of Julian Arteaga’s classic style, is now LIVE on sundaybikes.com. Julian has a knack for making simple things look great, and hard things look easy. This video is all the proof you need. Filmed all long lens, no fish were harmed during the making.
