Sebastian Keep – What Does Red Bull Want?

February 12, 2017

Sebastian Keep dropped the latest VLOG on the Tall Order channel. Although we do try to avoid the vlogs, we were into this one since Bas gives us a little behind the scenes look at some of his meetings with Red Bull that gives you a little insight into what it’s like riding for them and some of the work that goes into it off the bike. This video documents a trip to their headquarters in London. This also gives us a little teaser of something new that Bas has cooking up with some TV shows, then a little update on what Tall Order has in the works for this year.

“In this Vlog I headed to the Red Bull office to discuss plans for future projects.
Since the release of “Walls” I’ve been approached by a few companies for adverts so I headed out to Germany to talk with a producer and director.

Sebastian Keep – Jumping Off Bridges On A BMX: The Story Behind “Walls”

January 16, 2017

Sebastian Keep found some very crazy walls to ride for this project…

Here’s what we have been waiting for, for a LOOOOONG time now! The footage of Sebastian Keep doing that insane Gap to Wallride off a bridge for Red Bull has finally made its way online! The Behind the Scenes video just dropped on Tall Order‘s Youtube channel giving you a look at everything that went into making this very, very, very insane idea happen from the gap off the bridge to a bunch of other crazy setups he cooked up! Then Red Bull dropped their “Walls” video that is a short but sweet video packed with banger after banger from all the insane wallrides Bas did. This is absolute MADNESS and a must see!

“ The idea started with lets take 2 small ramps to the city centres to jump off multi storey car parks and bridges land on buildings and wall ride down them. We knew that what we were doing wasn’t exactly legal so we decided to wear high vis jackets and hard hats and try our best to disguise ourselves as road workers so that people would leave us alone and It worked!
The spots we found on Google earth were bigger than we anticipated
and so we tried to build practice set ups to help get used to the gaps.

At the spot in Croydon nobody knew if it was possible to ride down 20 feet of vertical wall and after speaking to various pro riders who didn’t have an answer for us we decided to try it…

This video tells the story of how we rolled into city centres in the early hours disguised as builders with vans holding huge ramps set them up and filmed our attempts at some of the biggest wall rides we have seen.

Please Subscribe and thanks for watching.” Sebastian Keep

“Redefining the concept of street riding, Sebastian ‘Bas’ Keep’s latest project, Walls, takes BMX into uncharted territories.
It’s almost like a new discipline of riding, no one’s really done it before
Sebastian ‘Bas’ Keep
The British BMX legend uses ramps and his creativity to tackle some of the UK’s most inaccessible wallrides, including the project’s death-defying final Croydon spot – an insane 6.5m (22ft) gap to 9.7m (32ft) wallride that made the final ever cover of RideUK back in 2015.
Nearly two years later and the wait is over. Watch the video above to see Bas push the boundaries of what can be achieved in the street environment.

Tall Order – Pocket Socket BMX Tool

December 29, 2016

There’s no doubt that having the right Tools are an essential for any rider, it does help that things have been simplified down greatly over the years to the point where you really only need allen keys or a 17mm socket to work on pretty much everything on your bike except for the spokes or maybe getting your tire off the wheel. We have seen a number of Multi-Tools over the years like the DK Random Wrench to the Merritt Trifecta tool that have simplified carrying around a bag of tools with you. The guys at Tall Order have decided to simplify it even more and made this tool that literally only has 6mm and 8mm allen key heads, a 17mm socket and enough of a handle to get some leverage to crank your nuts and bolts tight.

The Pocket Socket BMX Tool comes in black and chrome, weighs in at 4 oz. and is available through BMX shops and mail-orders that carry Tall Order worldwide for around $19.99.

Tall Order – Where Is My Red Bull Footage?

December 23, 2016

There’s been a bunch of people asking when Sebastian Keep‘s footage from the crazy gap to wallride drop-in off the bridge would surface online. Especially considering that it  was on a cover for Ride UK over a year ago. It looks like we FINALLY get an answer in the latest Tall Order webisode where Bas goes to the Red Bull headquarters to hash out the details and take care of some other business. January 16th is the day and it’s going to be awesome to FINALLY see the footage from the wallride. Until then, hit play and take a look at what Sebastian and Ollie got into during a trip to the Red Bull offices.
