Derry 2 Kerry – Dirty Old Town Tour

Here’s a throwback that The Boardroom re-upped from 2011 or your viewing pleasure. This video is from the Derry 2 Kerry trip they took bouncing around the U.K hitting up spots and checking out the sights. This may be 8 years old, but the riding is still great and the vibe is awesome. Despite the weather not quite working out, it looks like it was still a blast.

“Squeezing a group of your mates into a car/van combo and hitting the road has always been a recipe for success and in the golden era of 2011 taking off from Belfast we drove all over the bloody place looking to beat the non stop rain.
Basically it rained the whole way down the west coast (big surprise there!!) so we headed south and got some great riding in around Kerry, Cork and Waterford. Camera’s and spirits got crushed then we all witnessed one if the burliest crashes I have ever seen but for the most part it was an awesome time and in hindsight one of the best road trips we ever did as a shop.

The Boardroom – Ryan Aylward 2017 Video

It’s kind of crazy that we don’t see a ton of BMX videos coming out of Ireland, especially Dublin. The place looks like it has plenty of spots to ride. Either way, today we’re treated to a new one from The Boardroom featuring Ryan Aylward going to work on spots around Dublin. This is a real solid watch from start to finish with a mix of grinds, spins and more. Take a peek!

“I had this footage sitting on my computer for a long time. There was no reason for never doing anything with it, I guess it just kept slipping my mind.

Ryan and I used to ride, hang out and film quite a lot together, but sometimes things change. Screws fall out. That’s life.

The other week Ryan and his lovely missus moved to Barcelona. A few days later I heard about the terror attacks.

Thankfully they’re both safe, but it got me thinking about how strange the world is and how we’re all just a spark in the fire.

Regardless of that, everyone tries to make their time count.

Reg and I put in a fair bit of work for these clips, I’m glad they’re seeing the light of day.””

It has been a little while since we’ve seen some fresh footage from Errol Flanagan, but it’s clear he has been out there putting in work on the streets over in the UK! Here’s a look at a fresh batch of clips for The Boardroom that he was able to stack before he jacked up his hand and had to take some time off. The Boardroom – West Coast Weekend

The Boardroom over in Ireland have added a few new riders to their team. So, to celebrate they got the crew together in Galway for a little filming time for this new video. Errol Flanagan, Andre Bonnici, Dan Mulhare and Chris O’Neill have been added to the team. We’re not quite sure who is who in this video, but it sounds like they will all have welcome edits coming soon, so I guess we’ll have to get familiar then. Until that time, hit play on this and enjoy some real solid riding.

The Boardroom keeping their annual team road trip alive! For 2015, the once again loaded up the entire crew and hit the road to hit skateparks and street spots, taking in the sights and having a damn good time along the way. Check out some highlights in the BMX video above!

The Boardroom X 4Down Park Edit

It has been a while since we have seen an edit from The Boardroom shop crew out in Ireland! Here’s a short but sweet one from a session Derek and Eoin got in at 4Down‘s warehouse ramp setup! Plenty of solid gems in this.

The Boardroom – No Direction

Although the annual Boardroom trip was caught up in more moisture than hoped for, they still managed to make the best of the situation and come out on top with a rad video from the nice weather they did come across. This gives you a look at the riding that went down along with a little look into what they got into off their bikes as well! Good vibes for sure!

“The annual Boardroom Holiday is one of my favourite times of year.
Get the lads together, buy a load of disposable BBQ’s, a couple of beverages and hop in the motors.
This year’s trip was supposed to go up the East coast, around the North Coast and end up in Donegal…
However, it rained… A LOT. The first two days were marred by torrential downfall, so much so that the usual “stuck in the car for hours” blues were even worse than usual. We drove in every direction on day two, only to be met by rain EVERYWHERE, it almost ended with some people considering going home.
Thankfully the Barstool Crew came through with the welcome news that the West was dry…
Not only was it dry, but it was hot. Result.
We did our usual guerrilla camping, a small fire, some beers and some food (cleaning up after ourselves at every spot, because we’re responsible, loveable rogues). In the end we made the most of the remaining handful of days on the trip and got fairly familiar with Galway. Good times.
This year was slightly different in that a few of the regular faces were absent, due to conflicting holidays/emmigration, but it was still amazing. We got to travel with some of the new additions to the Boardroom team and a few mates who we’d never gone on a trip with. Different is good though, we had an amazing time.
Hopefully you enjoy the video, I hope it reflects the good time we had.

The Boardroom – It’s All Gone South

Now this is what I call a BMX road trip! No plans, good times, good friends and bikes! The Boardroom did it right!

“This year, The Boardroom family holiday was based around probably the loosest plan yet.
With no concrete ideas outside of “Let’s go camping down south…” we got 8 of the lads together, packed our gear into Derek’s Van and Graham’s family-mobile and headed off.
We slept in the battlements of a castle, swam in the Atalantic, got eaten alive by midges in the Ring of Kerry, used timber from a derelict house to keep the first bonfire lit and in between the hundreds of stubby beers and burnt burgers, managed to get some riding in.
Despite the fact that the forecast was terrible, we got lucky. Even if it hadn’t worked out as well as it did, three and a half days on the road with your friends is always going to be a good time.
