There’s no doubt that you have probably seen at least one edit of Dylan this past year. He has been all over the web video game this past year. I had the chance to hang out with Dylan in Toronto this past winter and not only is he suppppper good at riding bikes, he’s a real chill guy that’s good stuff off the bike too. I knew he had a bunch of different stuff going on with his sponsors these days so I figured it would be a good time to get to know him a little better. Let’s take a look at what he had to say. “At the Toronto BMX Jam in early Spring, we got to witness The Take team rider Dylan Stark ride in person for the first time, and we were impressed by his ability to adapt his street skills to a heated park contest setting. Around the same time, ESPN contributing videographer Larry Alvarado started shooting with Dylan in his adopted home of Riverside, Calif., and since then, Dylan has been working on the above edit. It’s a small glimpse into the life of Dylan, plus some ridiculous clips from the So Cal area. It would appear Denny is still rocking a hat from his shitty haircut Jeff Dowhen gave him a few months back… At least he can throw down a few moves for this quick edit for The Take that Team Jeff DuPaul filmed and chopped.
The Take have dropped the 5th version of their very popular and classic Ivy frame. I remember back in the day when everyone was riding one of these frames. It was insane. They’ve made a few changes for this year, and even gave Dylan Stark his own colorway. Hit this link to find out all the specs and more.
I had the chance to meet James up in Toronto last month. James is a real rad dude who can shred some BMX. I had a feeling he was going to be getting the hook up by The Take, and now it’s official. Check out a little over 3 minutes of awesome from James.
The other day it was announced the Jeff DuPaul would be taking over the role of Team Manager for The Take. For those of you firmiliar with either of those names, you would realize they make a pretty good team. I’ve known Jeff for quite a while and I feel like the brand will be making some real big changes with his presence.
