The Daily Grind In North Carolina

The Daily Grind crew are no strangers to road trips in search of street spots. Over the past few years they have hit up spots all over the East and West Coasts and plenty in between. They recently decided to load up and head East to North Carolina to see just what the state had to offer for street spots. Although North Carolina is primarily known for Greenville in the BMX world, it’s safe to say this place has some amazing street spots, too. Check out 9 minutes of heavy footage from Zack Gerber, Dan Conway, Troy Merkle, Tony Cherry, Scott Steele, Jon “Gremlin” Bechtold, Mike Vitatoe and Grant Ueberroth who put in some serious work during their visit.

The Daily Grind – North Carolina Skatepark Session

During a recent team road trip The Daily Grind crew took to North Carolina, the crew made a stop at a skatepark along the way for a productive session. Check out some highlights from Zack Gerber, Dan Conway, Scott Steele, Grant Ueberroth, Mike Vitatoe and Tony Cherry who all went to work on the place and ended up with some real solid clips. Despite a little water, this place looks like a real fun spot to cruise around at.

The Daily Grind – DC Plaza Session

The Daily Grind hit us with a link to their latest BMX video from some time that the crew and a few friends spent at the DC Plaza. Mike Vitatoe – One Night at Ollies Skatepark

Tony Cherry dropped this fresh BMX video featuring The Daily Grind‘s newest recruit, Mike Vitatoe, putting in some time at Ollies Skatepark in Kentucky! Mike brings plenty of grinds and lines and Tony even sneaks in for a clip or two as well. Take a look!

Review: The Daily Grind – “Hard Times” DVD

There haven’t been a ton of BMX DVD’s coming out these days, but there’s still a place for them because of the way footage comes and goes so fast on the internet these days. Over the past year or two, The Daily Grind crew have been busy stacking clips for their second full-length video “Hard Times” that was just released last week. We got our hands on a copy and figured it would be a good DVD to give you some insight on since it’s definitely a standout video from a lot of full-length videos we see these days, mostly due to the shock value in it. So, let’s get into this!

“Hard Times” With The Daily Grind

Although it’s been tough to really sell DVD’s these days with the internet becoming the go-to outlet to reach the most people versus really appreciating the quality and hard work that goes into a video, there are still brands and riders out there that are putting in the hard work to make a DVD happen. The crew over at The Daily Grind are pretty known for their quality over quantity ideals and because of that we always know we can trust that what they’re producing is going to be proper.
We caught wind that the crew have been busy stacking clips for the brands 2nd full-length DVD and after seeing some “scraps” from a few edits that popped up, we were really curious what the story was behind it. We decided to get ahold of Jon “Gremlin” Bechtold and Ryan Howard to talk about what the story is with the new DVD and what we can expect from it!
