Unit Riders – Josh Stead – Huge Backflip Crash

February 13, 2012

“THIS VIDEO IS DEDICATED TO THE GREAT DANE SEARLS. RIDE IN PEACE.

Josh Stead is a madman! During the final iconic session at Dane Searls’ Giants Of Dirt BMX jumps, Dane invitied Josh to ride the jumps and join him as only the 2nd BMX rider to ever attempt the last massive 60ft jump.

Josh followed in Dane’s footsteps, and on only his 3rd run of the jumps attempted the incredible!

Lucky to escape serious injury, Josh’s courage shows the world what is possible on a bike while helping cement Dane’s legacy in BMX history. May Dane’s dream and sacrifice on the bike live on through up and coming riders forever.

The bike featured is the Nathan Williams colour way to co-incide with his Etnies Jameson 2.
We are proud to have teamed up with Etnies to produce a line of bikes, shoes and apparel headed up by Nathan Williams, Corey Martinez & Ashley Charles.

Unit Riders – Farm Jam 2012 Flyer

January 30, 2012

“Unit is excited to announce the Unit Farm Jam will be on again this year, and is set for February 25 in the deep south of New Zealand.

A truly unique event, the Farm Jam is the brainchild of the Frew Brothers, who have developed a series of incredible natural terrain courses around the hills of their New Zealand farm. The event will merge FMX, BMX and MTB like never before, with separate jams for each sport, but a finale best trick contest which pits every rider against each other on 1 massive ramp setup!

We will be at the event producing loads of behind the scenes content, highlight videos and galleries, so please keep and eye out, and share anything of interest with your fans.

Some riders who have confirmed include Kyle Baldock, Benny Phillips, Maikel Melero and many more.” – Unit Riders
