This past weekend, the Trail Riders of America hosted the Double Cross contest out in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania where they invited out 26 riders to take part in the day filled with racing, tricks and good times. The concept was simple, put two riders head to head on a hybrid track that’s not only built for speed, but for tricks as well and see who can make it to the finish line first. We had our friend Eric Silver out at the event to shoot some photos and he came through with a ton of great shots featuring the likes of Chris Doyle, Van Homan, Brandon Dosch, Scotty Cranmer, Aaron Ross and many more that you can check out in our new photogallery! One of our favorite things is when a photographer we’re not familiar with drops a few samples in our inbox to get a look at! Although we have seen Eddie Welsh‘s name pop up here and there over time, we had no idea that he was out there crushing it behind the lens. When it comes to Australian street riders Jack Elkins is at the top of the list (hang-5 barspin in the middle of a line!). Seeing him ride in person definitely didn’t disappoint. I got lucky enough to shoot this hefty switch 180 with him while he was on a Fit Bikes Texas to Nevada trip earlier this year.

ESPN BMX dropped this video from this years Heathens Jam that went down in Pennsylvania! Check out footage of Chris Doyle, Van Homan, Clint Reynolds, Mykel Larrin, Mark Potoczny, Jeremy Ball, Scotty Yoquelet and more getting down at the trails. This looks like it was a damn good time!
