Vans – Dakota Roche Signature Slip-On BMX Shoe

Check out the new Vans Slip-On BMX shoe in Dakota Roche’s signature colorway!

Here’s some news we’ve been getting some hints at for a little while now that we’re stoked to see is finally out! Vans have released their popular Slip-On shoe with a huge upgrade to use the BMX specific wafflecup sole! They’ve given Dakota Roche the very first signature shoe for this model and it turned out awesome. The Vans Slip-On BMX takes the look of the classic slip on, and pairs it up with the sole that was designed specifically for BMX with proper grip and durability, along with rubber toe caps for added strength and the PopCush sockliners to give you plenty of comfort. Dak’s shoe is available now in this clean Black and White color combo with an embossed logo on the top and graphics on the insole inspired by Dakota. These shoes are simple, and will be able to hold up to any session!

The shoe is available in size 3.5 all the way up to size 13 for $75.00 through BMX shops and mail-orders that carry Vans, and direct from the Vans Website now!

Vans – Dennis Enarson “Right Here”

The Dennis Enarson “Right Here” video from Vans has arrived!

When Vans announced the new Dennis Enarson “Right Here” video was dropping last week, we knew we were in for an absolute BANGER. Whenever Dennis goes into a project like this, you know he’s going all in. Well, the video dropped today and, as expected, it’s an absolute MUST SEE packed with bangers from start to finish. There are even a few clips from Vans teammates Pat Casey, Corey Walsh, Dan Lacey, Lewis Mills and Jason Watts. Get on that play button and give this a watch, then watch it again… and again. Too good! Bonus points for all the helmet clips. Always good to see that.

“Back in June of 2019 Dennis Enarson set out to make the part of a lifetime; something he and the BMX community would be proud of. The goal was to capture BMX riding that lives on throughout time. He spent 8 months hammering away at his goal. This part was 90% complete before Covid hit and shut down plans for filmmaker, Rich Forne, to come out from Spain to San Diego to get Dennis’ last few bangers. Instead the two finished editing the part from other sides of the world.

Anyone that knows BMX already knows Dennis’ explosive energy and zero regard for gravity makes him one of the most savage humans on a bike.

And yet nothing could prepare you for the heaviness of RIGHT HERE. This is one of the gnarliest parts you’re ever going see.

Empire X Vans Waylon Colorway – Old Skool Pro & Slides

Vans have been doing a number of BMX collaboration shoes lately between the team, a few shops and brands. Here’s their latest collaboration with Empire BMX that turned out so good! They took the Old Skool Pro and their Slides and gave it a proper Waylon treatment. This black on black with yellow cat eyes and an insole featuring Waylon on the inside for the shoe, and cat eyes on the slides. The Old Skool Pro shoe has the BMX specific Wafflecup BMX cupsole and sole that give you plenty of grip and support while out riding. These are available exclusively at Empire BMX only for $89.95 in sizes 7.5 – 13 for the shoes or $44.95 for the slides or both for $119.95 if you want the kit! Get on these before they’re gone. The Dennis Enarson Old Skool Pro BMX shoe colorway from Vans has arrived!

It’s always funny when you think about something, and then it happens shortly after. Just the other day we were thinking that it was surprising that Dennis Enarson hasn’t had a signature colorway from Vans yet, then today news that his signature Old Skool Pro BMX colorway is dropping this month arrives! For Dennis’ colorway, he went with this rad olive with gum and white accents, with added graphics by Thomas Hooper on the heel and the footbed that adds that extra pop to make it Dennis’ own.
