Wethepeople – Jordan Godwin Welcome to the Pro Team

If you didn’t see this news coming, you have clearly been sleeping on Jordan Godwin. The crew over at Wethepeople have just announced that they have given Jordan the bump up to the Pro team! Here’s a video featuring a few of his older clips with some words from the team! We figured this news was coming since he has his own signature colorway coming for the Wethepeople Battle frame soon! Dan Foley Off Wethepeople

Here’s some news we did NOT see coming. Dan Foley has decided to part ways with Wethepeople! No word if he has another opportunity lined up or not, but surprising news to say the least. Get the scoop from Dan and the Wethepeople team manager, Paul Robinson, below!

“Over the past 20 years, WTP has built an undeniably impressive legacy brand and it’s been an honor being a part of it the past two and a half years. However, I’ve decided it’s time for me to part ways. No hard feelings whatsoever, I just think it’s best for me to go a new direction. I’ll always respect the brand and everyone involved. I cannot thank them enough for everything and I wish them the best.” – Dan Foley

Dan Kruk Video Bike Check

Take a closer look at Dan Kruk’s current Wethepeople setup with his signature Battleship colorway…

On the last day on Interbike, Dan Kruk built up a fresh new setup with one of the Wethepeople Battleship frames in his new signature colorway. The frame color and graphics were designed to match his new signature Party Paint colorway from Madera so it all came together looking really rad.

It was a long 3 days and we were about to head out to the airport when we filmed this, so we had everything packed up and didn’t bring along the tripod (amateur move), so some (most) of these shots were real shaky, rough and pretty shitty unfortunately, so we apologize for that. Don’t worry, we know it’s sloppy so you don’t have to tell us, haha. But we didn’t want to just waste the clips and everything…
Regardless, we still get a decent look at Dan’s setup along with a full parts list! Take a peek. We’ll have full details on the frame coming soon!

Interbike 2016 – Wethepeople & Eclat

Interbike 2016 has begun! To kick this party off, we headed over to the Wethepeople and Eclat have been working on over in Germany. Up first, we have a look at their 2016 complete bikes, which we took a look at the other week. Here are a look at a few of the different sprockets that Wethepeople currently offer. Above is there throwback full sprocket with the engraved Wethepople logo.

Patrol sprockets for you trails guys.

Felix Prangenberg’s new signature sprocket that will be dropping soon!

Supreme hub with guards.

Ed Zunda signature cranks.

Dillon Lloyd signature Dill Pickle peg!

Pete Sawyer signature Sterling bars and fork in this new bronze color.

Take a seat! Wethepeople have a number of Pivotal and Tripod seat options.

Dan Kruk signature colorway for the new Battleship frame. Kind of hard to see but it’s a black with confetti style pieces that matches his new signature Party Paint colorway from Madera!

Eben Fischer did the graphics for this frame as well. Real nice as always!

Jordan Godwin is also getting a signature colorway on the Battleship frame with some unique graphics to go with it.

The new “Message” frame from Wethepeople features a real unique metallic / chameleon color changing by the angle color that looks awesome. Apparently they used this style of paint on planes back in the 80’s. We’ll get you full specs and details soon, so keep your eye on the site for that.

Now let’s take a look at a few Eclat goodies!

A few of their new Pivotal and Tripod seat options!

A few different sprocket options regular and full guard and their 4 Stroke chain.

The new Military green color that will be available on a few of their parts.

Here’s a look at a new plastic pedal that Eclat are working on. It features a flat platform that is wider. We’ll get you full details closer to the release. Shouldn’t be too much longer.

Plenty of pedal options. Contra and AK pedals here. They have a few other options on top of these three as well.

Metal is coming back. New metal pegs and hub guards they are cooking up!

Stems and cranks! The new Cortex front hub and that oil slick color for the Teck hub.

The new Storm fork that Eclat have been working on for a good year or so now. They’re making pretty bold claims that this will be one of the strongest forks available and they have some 3rd party stress testing to back that claim. All we know is they look real clean and sturdy. Once again, full specs and details coming in the near future.

Bright colors making a come back! Here’s a look at their new Raven rim that we’ll be available in this neon yellow color.

The Bruno Hoffmann signature Predator tire coming in Gum.

Wethepeople – Dillon Lloyd Bike Check

Wethepeople caught up with Dillon Lloyd to take a closer look at his current Buck setup that he’s running decked out with Wethepeople and Eclat parts from top to bottom! It looks like the Fireball tire will be coming in a Military Green color that has been real popular as of late. Expect those to be available real soon. Wethepeople – 2017 Complete Bikes Catalog

The other day we posted up the entire range of Wethepeople’s 2017 Complete Bikes, and now today we get a more condensed flipbook version for you to easily navigate through, taking in all the details information. This is a very dialed range of bikes from the little 12″ Prime all the way up to the top of the line Envy, so take your time! You can get a more detailed look (video below for example) of the bikes up on the Wethepeople Website as well.

Paul Tholen Bike Check + Wethepeople Pro Team

It looks like Paul Tholen has been given the well deserved bump on up to the Wethepeople PRO team! Paul has been crushing it for the past couple of years over in Germany, so this was a move that we had a feeling would happen some day. With that news, they have released a brand new Bike Check giving you a closer look at Paul’s current Cadence setup, along with a full parts list.
