X Games 2024 – Women’s BMX Park

It has finally happened. The X Games have finally given the ladies an official BMX event after YEARS of trying to make it happen. The Women’s BMX Park contest went down on Friday and the whole line up threw down! Here’s a look at everything that went down in this full live replay! History was made and we’re stoked to see it! Check out what went down and who ended up on the podium!

1 heat of 8 athletes participating in 3 runs each. Best run counts, with the best run ranked 1-8. Judges will rank competitors throughout the contest.”

X Games 2024 – BMX Dirt Elimination Round

Check out what went down during the Elimination Round for X Games 2024 BMX Dirt!

The 2024 X Games officially kicked off yesterday in Ventura, California and one of the first events to go down was the elimination round of the BMX Dirt contest. They’re having 15 (it was 16 but it looks like Andy Buckworth got hurt in practice. Not sure if they didn’t have an alternate available?) riders throw down to see which 8 riders will be going into the final round. Check out everything that went down in this live replay!

1 heat of 16 athletes competing with two runs each. Best run counts, scored 1-100. Top 8 athletes from the elimination will advance to the final. Judges will score competitors throughout the contest.” – X Games

Bloom BMX caught up with the ladies for practice on the X Games course!

After years and years of trying to make it happen, there is an official Women’s BMX Park contest going down this weekend at X Games 2024 and we’re real stoked on that! The Bloom BMX was on the course for the practice sessions to see what was going down for riding, along with talk to the ladies to see what they think of the course.

“It’s true! History will be made in Ventura, California this year with the induction of the first Women’s BMX Park Medal event at X Games! The ladies have arrived and spent the last two days at practice. The wind was strong, the tunes were up (most of the time) and the spirits were high. X Games 2024 – First BMX Street Practice

The X Games are going off in Ventura this weekend and things are already heating up!

We’re about to get a look at the “new” X Games this weekend in Ventura now that ESPN doesn’t own it anymore. Things started heating up as the first BMX street practice went down, giving us a sample of what’s to come from all the guys that got the invite. Hit play and expect to see plenty more footage pouring in the next week or so.

“X Games is back in sunny (and not hot, thankfully) Ventura, California. We’ll be out here doing what we can and first things first…first street practice. Garrett sums up the course well, but it’s pretty tight/congested with obstacles so dudes definitely took a bit longer than usual to get some lines down. Fortunately there’s another a full day of practice coming up… And thanks to Grant Castelluzzo for handling a bulk of filming this.” – Our BMX

Christian Rigal – High Vis

Christian Rigal’s new MTB video is well worth a look!

Christian Rigal might have changed things up and went full time in mountain bikes, but that doesn’t mean his years of BMX doesn’t play a big role in his riding style. Here’s his latest video “High Vis” where he brought his love for street riding and his big bike together. They cooked up a bunch of unique spots with the help of some kicker ramps they built, but this has some crazy wall rides, gaps and more that shows Christian’s BMX background. You won’t want to miss this one, so get on that play button and take a look!

Check out what went down at the X Games!

Last week the X Games went down in Ventura, California, and as expected it was a wild one. All of the BMX contests brought some crazy riding and there was definitely a ton to take in and see. Our BMX put together this highlight video from BMX Street, Park and Dirt showing you the best riding all in one place. There’s also a few other videos that popped up the past day or so that are pretty interesting to see as well. You can check those out below!

“Maybe it’s the new owners. Maybe it’s just luck. Or maybe it’s just the fact that we missed a real life, live X Games with a crowd, but I’ll be damned if this wasn’t one of, if not the, best X Games since I’ve been covering them. And that’s been a long time, trust me. We’re about to do an Unclicked podcast about the week and figured it’d be best to have a quick compilation of tricks from each event to run through and thennnnn, I just decided to make a “Best Of X Games 2023” video…well, except Megapark, because I had to shoot photos for some other obligations.
