X Games Chiba 2024 is going down this weekend!

The X Games have returned to Chiba, Japan! The contest kicked off yesterday and the BMX Park Elimination round went down to see who will be making the move into finals this weekend. Above is the full live replay giving you a look at everything that went down from start to finish. Check it!

“Watch the full Men’s BMX Park Elimination competition from X Games Chiba 2024 in Japan!

How medal event is judged:
1 heat of 12 athletes participating in 2 40 runs each. Best run counts, scored 1 – 100. Judges will score competitors throughout the contest. Top 8 athletes from the elimination will advance to the final. Judges will score competitors throughout the contest.

BMX Park is a style of bmx riding featuring a variety of obstacles such as ramps, bowls, quarter pipes, and ledges arranged in a challenging and creative layout. Riders use these obstacles to perform a variety of tricks, jumps, and grinds, incorporating a majority or all features into a single run. The athletes will complete as many runs as possible within the jam session, with their best run score counting towards final ranking. Competitors will be judged based on aggressive execution of maneuvers, degree of difficulty, variety, continuity of run, originality and style, amplitude (height of airs) and use of the course.” – X Games

As the 2024 X Games in Ventura were winding down, the BMX Dirt Best Trick contest went down with 7 riders (Mike Varga backed out of the contest before the start) ready to throw down their best moves. The BMX events were rolling hard on Friday out in Ventura, California as the X Games 2024 officially kicked off. The BMX Street contest went down, and it’s safe to say the whole line up was STACKED and there was no shortage of dialed riding to take in. The 2024 X Games officially kicked off yesterday in Ventura, California and one of the first events to go down was the elimination round of the BMX Dirt contest. They’re having 15 (it was 16 but it looks like Andy Buckworth got hurt in practice.
