Check out all of the crazy riding that went down during BMX Park Finals!

The X Games are going off over in Chiba, Japan this weekend and the BMX Park Finals was one of the first events on Saturday. With the 8 riders that made it through from the BMX Park Elimination contest ready to throw down, you already know things went crazy. “How medal event is judged:
1 heat of 8 athletes participating in 3 40 second runs each. Best run counts, scored 1 – 100. Judges will score competitors throughout the contest.

BMX Park is a genre of freestyle bike riding featuring a variety of obstacles such as ramps, bowls, quarter pipes, and ledges arranged in a challenging and creative layout. Riders use these obstacles to perform a variety of tricks, jumps, and grinds, incorporating a majority or all features into a single run. The athletes will complete as many runs as possible within the jam session, with their best run score counting towards final ranking. Competitors will be judged based on aggressive execution of maneuvers, degree of difficulty, variety, continuity of run, originality and style, amplitude (height of airs) and use of the course.”

X Games Chiba 2024 is going down this weekend!

The X Games have returned to Chiba, Japan! The contest kicked off yesterday and the BMX Park Elimination round went down to see who will be making the move into finals this weekend. Above is the full live replay giving you a look at everything that went down from start to finish. Check it!

How medal event is judged:
1 heat of 12 athletes participating in 2 40 runs each. Best run counts, scored 1 – 100. Judges will score competitors throughout the contest. Top 8 athletes from the elimination will advance to the final. Judges will score competitors throughout the contest.

As the 2024 X Games in Ventura were winding down, the BMX Dirt Best Trick contest went down with 7 riders (Mike Varga backed out of the contest before the start) ready to throw down their best moves.
