Here’s a promo with Garrett Reynolds for the X Games LA that is coming up soon, June 28 – July 1. As always, expect Garrett to drop some hammers. This should be good.
X-Games 18 Street and Park Courses
Above and below are two 3D renderings of what the X-Games 18 street and park courses will look like this year. Really pretty cool how they have been doing the street courses lately with going as far as to add in a vending machine, basketball hoop and other real stuff you would come across on the street. It also looks like Red Bull will be an official sponsor for the park course this year.

X-Games Global Expansion Announcement
Well, here’s one that caught me off guard. When the Dew Tour announced they were cutting back on stops, I figured… great. Less contests, less coverage, less money going around. Just what we don’t need. Then today, the X-Games went and announced that they have added a few more locations that they will be doing contests at and, needless to say, it’s some impressive venues. They will be doing contests in Barcelona, Spain, Munich, Germany and Foz do Iguacu, Brazil in addition to Aspen to go with the original contest in Los Angeles.
All I know is that I need to get a job with ESPN BMX so I can get to all these places.
Demolition – Dave Dillewaard at CX Games
Dave Dillewaard recently went over to China for the China X-Games to ride park and dirt. Here’s some footage from some of his runs during dirt finals. You can also check out a bunch of photos from his trip over on the Demolition website.
Wait… China X-Games has dirt (sort of) and the U.S doesn’t… fawk!
X Games 17 Highlights
X Games 17 Hightlights – More BMX Videos
“Highlights from the superpark, street, and big air contests at X Games 17 featuring Dennis Enarson, Garrett Reynolds, Chad Kagy, Gary Young, Chase Hawk, Vince Byron, Ty Morrow, Daniel Dhers, Ryan Nyquist, Van Homan, and more. Credit: Ryan Galvan
VX-Games 17 According to Miles Rogoish
“One more X Games 17 post, but it’s definitely worth it. If you’re watching X Games 17 on TV, you got to see runs from the finalists. Unfortunately, that leaves a lot of the amazing riding that went down before the contest unseen. Miles Rogoish made the two-hour drive up to Los Angeles, scrounged up a media pass, and used his trusty old VX to film the above video. It’s not highlighted runs in a contest — it’s just the best of what happens before the final event goes down. And it’s well worth a watch. Video by Miles Rogoish.” – ESPN
X-Games 17 – Chad Kagy Big Air
If you happened to see Big Air during the X-Games last week, there’s a chance you might have seen this clip from GoPro of Chad Kagy. They had him strap a couple of their cameras to him to give you an idea of what it’s like to run the Mega Ramp. That’s some scary shit.
Monster – X-Games 17 ReCap
“The Monster Energy BMX teams hits X Games 17 in Los Angeles with some fire! Astounding performances by Jamie Bestwick by taking the 5 peat title and gold medal in BMX Vert, Scotty Cranmer taking the Bronze medal in BMX Park, and Dakota Roche taking the bronze medal in BMX Street. Big shouts to the rest of the BMX Monster Army in attendance: Kyle Baldock, Harry Main, Alex Coleborn, Pat Casey, Ryan Guettler and Andy Buckworth.”
