Check out the Caveman V2 frame from United!

It has been a bit of a dryspell as far as new and interesting products go lately. We haven’t seen anything too exciting as of late (at least that we have been tipped off to) and it’s good to see something pop up for a change! United have announced that Mike Escamilla‘s signature Caveman frame has been brought back by popular demand for a limited Caveman V2 run! Much like the first version, this frame definitely stands out from the norms of 2020 and has a throwback look to a classic Wilkerson Airlines frame from way back, and it looks awesome. Check out the specs, details and more photos below! We will point out that this frame will be available for PRE-ORDER TOMORROW, SEPTEMBER 23rd with delivery coming in November, and a price tag of $581.32. Steep, but the collectors out there will love it. You can pre-order the frame here — United Website.

2016 saw the first release of Mike Escamilla’s signature United Caveman frame, and now in 2020 it’s time for the V2!
The Caveman frame is made from full 4130 chromoly tubing and features an integrated head tube, top and down tube gussets, a down tube that wraps around the bottom bracket with a wishbone, mid bottom bracket, a wider rear triangle with tapered seat and chain stays to fit 2.40″ tyres, removable brake mounts, 5mm thick dropouts and, of course, a removable steel bash guard that attaches to the bottom of the wrap around down tube.
The graphics and styling give a nod to one of the originals as some of you will be quick to point out. With it’s bold design and brightly coloured appearance we took Mikes idea and ran with it. Resulting in a tasteful reincarnation of a classic favourite, the WAL (Wilkerson Airlines).

Top Tube Length – 20.8″
Chainstay Length – 13.65″ (slammed)
Head Tube Angle – 75°
Seat Tube Angle – 69°
Standover Height – 8.8″
