If you checked the site yesterday, there’s a good chance you caught the news about the console release of Pumped BMX coming up on September 18th for X-Box, Playstation, Wii and PC! We figured with the release coming up quick, it would be a good time to catch up with the game developer, Adam Hunt, on Skype to talk about getting the game ready for consoles, working with Curve Digital, the start of Pumped BMX 3 and the potential for future games and more. We also were lucky enough to get Dan Lacey to sit down and talk about how he got involved with Pumped BMX as well. Hit play and enjoy!

The Sunday Bikes crew recently spent some time in Minnesota while working on a few projects. During their stay, Erik Elstran, Jake Seeley, Mark Burnett and Chris Childs made a stop at the infamous 3rd Lair Skatepark in Golden Valley, Minnesota for a session with a bunch of the locals. There was a HUGE turn out and some awesome BMX riding went down. Here’s a quick BMX video we cooked up from some of the footage we caught during the session.

On June 13th, BMX riders from all over the place made their way to Burlington, Iowa to ride the Dankward Skatepark for the one and only Burly BMX Jam! Above is a video that gives you a look at the highlights from the entire day from the riding to the karaoke that that went down at the after party. You can see riding from guys like Bobbie Altiser, Dan Hylton, Jared Schlesselman, Habo Gutierrez and Glenn Salyers. This is what a proper BMX Jam looks like! It’s such a bummer knowing that we won’t be seeing Glenn blasting airs like he is doing in the end anymore. We’ve included a link to donate to his memorial fund below! Expect part 2 soon…
“Burly Jam 2015.
It was a cloudy day in Burlington, Ia on June 13 but that didn’t stop the migration of BMXers to Southeast Iowa from places like Texas, Chicago, New York, and all other dark corners of the Earth. On Saturday, July 18th, BMX riders from around the world were celebrating BMX day. Monster Energy threw a massive 5 event day with Street Series jams going down cities all across the world. This year featured Street Series stops in Riga, Latvia, Glasgow, Scotland, Nagoya, Japan, Chicago, Illinois and San Francisco, California.
We’re very excited to present to you a video from the Monster Street Series stop in Chicago! Despite being incredibly hot with temps in the 90’s and thunderstorms lingering, there was a massive turn out of BMX riders from Chicago all the way to the U.K and Germany in attendance. This video features riding from Timmy Theus, Dan Kruk, Trent McDaniel, Joe Jarvis, Dylan Gold, Alex Duleba, Mike Stahl, Austin Auginbaugh, Julias Carrasquillo, Dylan McCauley, Mike Strong and Carlo Hoffmann! Big shout out to Dan Lacey for making the trip over to help everyone celebrate in Chicago!

Yesterday was the finals for the 2015 Munich Mash BMX Street Rink contest with some of the best BMX Street riders in the world hitting the course, things were bound to get wild! Check out full highlights from Finals featuring Chad Kerley, Garrett Reynolds, Felix Prangenberg, Simone Barraco, Alex Donnachie, Devon Smillie, Broc Raiford, Dan Lacey and Dennis Enarson dropping hammers all over the course. Absolute MUST SEE for sure!

The Munich Mash BMX Street Rink contest is going down over in Munich, Germany this weekend and some of the best BMX Street riders are there putting the course that was designed by Brian Kachinsky and Jeff Klugiewicz to work! Today was the first day of practice and needless to say, the guys were having no trouble throwing down some amazing riding. Our good friend Justin Schwanke wanted to kick off the summer right. So, Justin and his dad loaded up in their car and went on a huge road trip across Canada, down through New York and New Jersey, on over to Illinois, up to Minnesota and then back to Canada. During the trip Justin hit up a bunch of skateparks and checked out the sights. When he came through Minnesota we had him stop in Rochester for a quick session at the Silverlake skatepark for a session.
They were on a tight schedule so we didn’t have a ton of time to ride, but we did manage to get a solid hour of filming in for it. During that time, Justin came through with a bunch of solid clips with his unique style and racing background. Take a look at the BMX video above that came from it!
