It’s pretty insane to think about tricks like the ones Jake Leiva and Dawid Godziek pulled off at the latest stop of the Toyota Triple Challenge…

While a large portion of BMX was focused on the FloriDeah Swampfest this weekend, the latest stop of the Toyota Triple Challenge series went off down in Texas. During the contest, there was no shortage of bangers going down and two tricks that Keith Mulligan shared are absolute mind benders… Jake Leiva pulled off a Decade to 360 Tailwhip and Dawid Godziek pulled a Tailwhip Cashroll. It goes to show the level of progress that BMX is at when it comes to sending it over some massive dirt jumps. Both tricks make little sense and almost seem to defy logic of the way gravity, physics and every other force works. Jake’s Decade to 360 Tailwhip is more like a Decade to Tailwhip to 360… We’re not sure how he magically stopped and started spinning in the process. At least it appeared to be that way. Either way, both tricks are absolute bangers and we figured this was well worth a share for people to check out. Expect to see more footage of these tricks and the whole event soon since Monster has been putting out videos after each stop of these contests. We’ll get the videos posted up as soon as they surface, so make sure to check back!

2018 FloriDeah Swampfest – Just Send It

Get a look at what went down during a little practice session on the massive double for the FloriDeah Swampfest Best Trick…

For the FloriDeah Swampfest, Scotty Cranmer wanted to do a rad event, so he had some kickers build and a dirt landing setup over a fence for a best trick contest. Some of the guys decided to give the setup a test and get a little practice in and Ride BMX whipped up this raw cut from it. Check out what went down and get ready for the madness in the actual contest.

“The 2018 Florideah Swamp Fest Scotty Cranmer Best Trick jump was open for some test runs and the likes of Cory Nastazio, Leandro Moreira, Victor Behm, Chris Dolye, and more gave it some goes. 2018 FloriDeah Swampfest Dirt Session

Watch the FloriDeah Swampfest trails get put to good use…

The FloriDeah Swampfest kicked off yesterday and riders from all over the world have been rolling in for the weekend that is bound to be pure madness. Yesterday, the dirt jumps got a heavy session from some of the best dirt riders in the world like Leandro Moreira, to Pros and AMs and random dudes that are going to need a full team of lawyers after some of the cases that went down. Here’s a look at some of the action courtesy of Ride BMX. The water pits are absolute gold.

“What would a Swamp Fest be without water? Thanks to Cody Diggs’ ambitious shovel work, water hazards are ever present along the first few more technical jumps in the trails—pretty much ensuring that anyone who strays off course is taking a dip. A few riders got drenched, but many more kept it high and dry—including the likes of Leandro Moreira, Lukas and Nathan Halahan, Van Homan, Mark Burnett, Matt Ray, Mike Hoder, and more… This was just a casual session and I’m sure with today being the official Swamp Fest, it’s going to get way more crazy out there.” – Ride BMX

It’s always rad seeing a new spot giving people a place to ride. Dayton, Ohio now has Mike’s Bike Park to ride, so The Daily Grind crew made their way to the place to put the setup to good use. It looks like they spent most of their time on the street section, but there’s definitely more to ride in that place. Check out what these guys cooked up for clips during the session! We’re looking forward to seeing more from this place.

Stuart Gibson – Rotterdam, My Playground

Stuart Gibson coming through with a dialed new video from Rotterdam!

It has been a minute since we’ve seen a fresh one from Stuart Gibson, but it’s clear he’s been out riding and putting in the work as always. Here’s a real dialed new one from his time exploring the streets of Rotterdam. This one isn’t the craziest when it comes to riding, but mixed with the spots and the film work all together, it makes for a hell of a good video. Take a peek!

“This project was a special one for me personally. When I approached Jimmy Schaffrath with the idea, he immediately said yes. Can’t thank him enough for his hard work! He killed it on all fronts. The initial concept has changed dramatically, but the essence is still the same. Great shots of the city, supported with some basic riding to deliver the story I wanted to tell. Bad weather and our schedules made it hard to get the content we were looking for but I think we managed to get a great result!

The video tells the story of a two-wheeled journey of exploration through my hometown of Rotterdam. The message is one that is close to my heart and I think it speaks for itself:

In today’s society, it is important to take a step back and slow down. Being on my bike does that for me. I can’t believe I fell in love with something so simple as riding.

I’ve been privileged to travel the world on my bike. But cruising the streets of my hometown Rotterdam, will always be special to me. I’ve called it home for so long, yet there is so much left to explore.

Being on two wheels allows me to open my eyes. Step on a bike, and the city becomes your playground.

Remember to cherish the small things in life.
Do what you love.
Follow your heart, and define your own path.”

Alex Leibrock made the trip out to California to soak up the sunshine and spots for his latest Haro video!

When the snow is flying and the cold temps hit, there’s a handful of places that are ideal for a trip to pass the time. California is always a good bet to make when planning a trip. Haro‘s Alex Leibrock recently spent some time out in California cruising skateparks, pools and street spots, stacking clips all along the way! Check out what he got into in this new video.
