Street Jammin’ 2017 – Prague

The 2017 Street Jammin’ Series has kicked off in Prague and it’s safe to say it was a great success. Here’s a highlight video giving you a look at all of the action that went down at a bunch of different spots the guys rolled to from rails and ledges to crazy transitions under bridges and more. Check it!

“A crew of about 50 riders from all over Europe descended upon the capital of The Czech Republic to mark Round 1 of the 2017 Street Jammin’ Series. Watch on for all the highlights. Round 1 of the Streetjammin’ Series was a definite success. Prague had proven itself to be the perfect city for a street jam and many sunburnt riders would sleep well that night because of it.

Round 2 of the Streetjammin’ Series will take place in Slovakia on July 22nd (BMX Day) so if you live in central Europe be sure to head down for this.

Profile Racing – Tech Tip: Comparing Chromoly To Titanium

Have you ever considered the different ways you can save weight on your bike? If you have, you have undoubtedly looked into what you could run on your bike with Titanium parts instead of Chromoly. This weeks Tech Tip from Profile Racing takes a look at the caparison when it comes to weight and which material you should be running.

As many of you know, Titanium is quite a bit lighter than Chromoly. Above is a comparison of Profile Racing axles and bolts in Chromoly and Titanium showing you the difference. Although Titanium is lighter, sometimes it’s not ideal for the style of riding you might do. If you’re hard on parts and like to grind, you’re better off with Chromoly. If you’re more of a ramp or trails rider, you would be a candidate for Titanium. Let’s take a look at the new Black Magic frame from S&M Bikes!

The Matty Aquizap signature Black Magic Frame from S&M Bikes has been in the works for a little while now and it’s finally starting to hit BMX shops and mail-orders. The frame is made right here in the U.S.A by S&M Bikes with full Butted Thermal X 4130 chromoly tubing, a 74-degree head tube angle, 71-degree seat tube angle, 11.6″ bottom bracket height, 9.30″ standover height and a 14.10″ – 14.75″ chainstay length! You can find a taller Integrated head tube, gussets on the top and down tubes, a Mid bottom bracket, integrated seat post clamp with an S&M Bikes logo, a wide rear triangle for 2.40″ tire clearance, tapered seat stays with end caps that have the S&M Logo, heat-treated 14mm dropouts and welded on chain stay brake mounts and guides.

The Black Magic Frame comes in Metallic Black and Gloss White with 21″, 21.25″ and 21.5″ top tube lengths, a weight of 5.4 lbs. and a price tag of $354.99 through BMX shops and mail-orders that carry S&M Bikes.

Fit Bike Co. – Eighty Sixed

A few weeks back some of the Fit Bike Co. team took a trip on up to Oregon to hit up the Fitty Mac Jam and explore the spots around Portland, Oregon! Here’s a real dialed BMX video from the trip giving us a look at the spots they cruised and the clips that were stacked!
