Here’s some news that shouldn’t be a complete surprise to you! Merritt have given Billy Perry the very well deserved bump on up to their Pro Team! It was announced a few months back that Billy had joined the Volume Bikes Pro Team, so we had a feeling that it wouldn’t take long for Merritt to make it happen as well. Above is the Instagram Billy posted to drop the news. You better believe that means we’ll be seeing more of Billy well into the future and probably a few more signature products.

Sneak Peek: GT Bicycles – Junk Food Pool Tires

Here’s something we’ve been waiting to tell people about for about two years now. GT Bicycles have been working on a new way to print designs on the sidewalls of tires for a while now, and they have decided to do their popular Junk Food pattern on the side of their Pool Tires. We spotted these on the Downtown BMX Instagram a little bit ago and were pumped to finally see the finished product. We’re working on getting full details and some better photos, so we’ll be doing an updated post soon. It would appear that they are available now, though!

UPDATE: We got our hands on a high res photo of the tire for you to check out! We would assume these will be available in 2.10″ and 2.30″ sizes since that is what the Pool tire is currently available in.

Jamie Cooper-Ellis Bowl Session

Jamie Cooper-Ellis coming through with a rad new video from a a session he caught on a bowl in Vermont. We don’t see too much footage out of Vermont, but it looks like they have been hiding this gem of a spot. Hit play to watch Jamie go to work on this bowl with plenty of style and a solid bag of tricks. This will most likely leave you wanting to ride this ramp, we sure want to.

DRG Machine – Pumpa Knuck Top Load Stem

Here’s a little something we just spotted over on Can You Dig It that you’ll be stoked on. Here’s a look at the brand new DRG Machine Pumpa Knuck Top Load Stem that is coming straight out of Maine from Derrick Girard‘s machine shop. This stem is CNC machined from 6061 Billet Aluminum with a 51.5mm reach, 25.2mm rise with beveled edges, a rounded top cap and black oxide treated alloy steel bolts.

The Pumpa Knuck Top Load stem is available in Raw for $60, anodized green or anodized black for $65 and you can even get custom engraving on the stem for a little bit extra — $85 (raw) or $90 (anodized).

You can pick this stem up direct from the DRG Machine website now.

You can get custom engraving to have it say anything you want for a little extra. Stock stems come with “Made In Maine”.

Available in anodized green and anodized black on top of the raw option.

2017 Vans BMX Street Invitational – AM Finals Highlights

Have you seen all of the footage from the Vans BMX Street Invitational yet? Here’s a little more for your viewing pleasure! This time around we get a look at what went down during the finals of the AM contest. Although these are technically “AMs”, there are a lot of familiar faces like Jacob Cable, Travis Hughes, Johnny Raekes, Charles Littlejohn, Julian Arteaga and more that all threw down! Raul Jula – GoPro BMX Riding In Baia Mare

We have seen a number of these first person GoPro videos over the past few years, with quite a few coming out of New York City. Here’s one that Raul Jula put together from some time he spent cruising around Baia Mara, Romania. We weren’t quite sure what we would be getting into with this one, but we quickly realized this isn’t one to skip around on. It would appear Raul is not scared to throw barspins over people, fly through traffic, ride on cars and terrify children. You will have to watch this one all the way through to take in all the small surprises throughout. It’s kind of crazy to think about the random things that can be captured with a GoPro camera mounted to your chest…
