When we saw Joe Molina‘s trailer video he put out (watch that here) we weren’t quite sure what we would be seeing in the final video. Well, today Joe released the video and it wasn’t what we were thinking it might be. Instead, it was much better and filled from start to finish with plenty of dialed riding from the streets. Fit Bike Co. – Eddie Cleveland Grip Re-Issue
Either Fit Bike Co. stumbled across a box of old Eddie Cleveland grips that got tucked away, or they felt a little nostalgic and decided to bringing back a classic. Either way, Fit have a limited edition re-issue of Eddie Cleveland’s signature Eddie grip available now. These grips are made right here in the U.S.A by ODI with a super soft rubber compound. The grips are 135mm long and have a thinner 28mm diameter that we don’t see on too many BMX grips these days. The grips feature a knurling style grip pattern with the Fit Key Logo and come with nylon plug style bar ends.

Odyssey BMX – Calibur 3-Piece Cranks
Is it time for a new set of BMX cranks? The new Calibur Cranks from Odyssey are starting to land at BMX shops and mail-orders. The Calibur cranks are a traditional style 3-piece crankset for those of you who don’t prefer Odyssey’s Thunderbolt style 2-piece cranks. You can find heat-treated chromoly tubular arms and a 22mm, 48-spline, hollow chromoly spindle with 6mm bolts to keep it all tight. These cranks feature sprocket bosses on both arms, so they are left and right side compatible. These also come with a 22mm, MID bottom bracket, so you don’t have to buy one of those separately.
The Calibur Cranks from Odyssey BMX are available in black and chrome, lengths of 165mm, 170mm and 175mm with a price tag starting at $149.99 – $159.99 based on color.
Do note that these cranks are heat-treated, but they are not covered by Odyssey’s 41 Thermal lifetime warranty they offer on some of their products.
