The Quality Control crew take a look back on their 2025 sessions.

This past year seemed to fly right on by. The Quality Control crew decided to compile their footage from the whole year into this new mix for your viewing pleasure. Great riding and clean film work. You can’t go wrong with this one!

Old Man Trip 2025

A few old guys loaded up for a BMX road trip down in Australia.

As you get older, the sessions can start to get harder and harder to coordinate, and it’s even harder to get a road trip in with all of your buddies. However, some times you can get the stars to align and the crew can get back together for a proper trip. Clint Millar and his friends loaded up for a trip down in Australia, and it looks like they had a real good time cruising a bunch of parks. Check out what went down!

“Every couple years an older group of BMX mates get together for some kind of trip for a week or so. Hanging out, riding, talking smack & generally having a great time both on and off the bikes.

This time around Phil & Bruce flew over from NZ to Sydney, Clint flew down from Brisbane, while Kevin drove up from Melbourne. We all started at Kenny’s place in Wollongong, hit up Sydney, Umina, Forster & Mullumbimby on the way driving up to Brisbane. Then hit a few places in and around Brisbane for a few days.

Good times were had by all & this little video will serve as a reminder of the trip for all that were on it for the years ahead.

Now, when & where will be our next one? I for one, cannot wait.

Stefan Heyns – Revisit

Stefan Heyns revisits spots to document progression.

One really cool thing about BMX is the progression that you can experience over time. When you first start out, everything seems hard and impossible. Then over time you develop the skills and progress, and those hard things become easy and you start using those skills to do other tricks. Over time, even the smallest adjustments can make huge changes to your riding. Stefan Heyns wanted to see just how much his riding improved by going back to spots and redoing lines. Here’s a look at what he cooked up! It’s safe to say he’s made some great progress.

“My homie, Stefan Heyns and I met up every other weekend and hit up different street spots across the Winelands and Cape Town in the Western Cape, South Africa.
Stefan has been progressing on the bmx constantly and at such a fast pace that we revisited spots to refilm him doing the trick better after unlocking it for the first time while filming.
The final rail was a personal battle for him as he has revisited that specific rail a few times but never really fully grinding it until we made a mission to the spot together and he got it in a couple of tries. His dedication to bmx and and street riding has been a treat to capture, very proud of him and how quickly he adapts and always being down for anything.

This is the first video of him but certainly not the last.

“We began filming a video in summer of 2023, thinking we would spend only 6 months making something short and not so serious. Unfortunately for those plans, the guys started stacking heavily. We were so proud of some of these clips, it felt as if committing to a bigger vision would be a better decision for the riding that was happening. The stacking persisted while an eventual project title and concept were shaped. We hope to make you proud!

I just want to take a moment to thank everyone involved for putting in the hard work and standing by the vision of this piece. I believe this was about as much of a passion project as one could perceive.
