It looks like NASS Festival will be stepping things up for 2016. They will be hosting the first BMX World Championships in nearly 30 years. Get the full scoop in the press release before. This should lead to things getting nuts!
“UK Festival to host BMX World Championships
Friday 8th – Sunday 10th July 2016
NASS Festival & the International BMX Freestyle Federation (IBMXFF) have announced today (Monday 7th March) the BMX World Championships will be held in the UK for the first time in 28 years.
The world’s leading freestyle BMX athletes will descend on the West Country in time for NASS, the action sport and music festival which takes place on the 8th – 10th July, near Bristol.
The event promises to be one of the largest global BMX freestyle events of the year with more than 450 professional and amateur athletes from over 40 countries heading to NASS to compete across three specialities of BMX freestyle; park, vert and dirt.”
Over the winter, the Signature BMX crew decided they had enough with the winter weather in Finland, so they loaded up and took a trip to Malaga, Spain! Here’s a short, but sweet, video with some highlights from the skatepark and street sessions they caught!
Jason Phelan coming through with a brand new how-to BMX video for your learning pleasure. This one takes a much different approach than other how-to videos, though. The thing about barspin handplants is that Jason couldn’t actually do the trick when he decided to do this. So, this how-to is a video showing you how he learned it with tips and advice that he picked up on while trying it.
Matt Bassingthwaighte might have a hard name to spell, but it’s easy to see this guy has a deep bag of tricks. Check out some technical lip tricks along with a bunch of bigger air tricks from some of the sessions at his local skatepark! Real solid BMX video.
