Fly Bikes have released information on the 2016 Sergio Layos signature Trueno bars that are starting to become available worldwide. It doesn’t look like they’ve changed too much, but they did add an addition 9″ rise option for you tall bar lovers! Get the full scoop below.
“For 2016, the Sergio Layos signature bars are now available in two sizes for those of you looking for a taller rise bar. The Trueno bars are made from heat-treated, 9-butted seamless 4130 chromoly tubing with 8.5″ rise and 9″ (new) rise options, a 28.5″ width, 12-degrees of backsweep and 2-degrees of upsweep. We have included cut lines to make it easier for you to trim the width of the bars as well
The 2016 Trueno bars are available in Stainless and flat black with a weight of 1.6 lb. (727 grams / 8.5″) through Flybikes dealers worldwide now!”

This video features riding from Edwin DeLaRosa, Chris Jonsson, Mark Gralla, Muffinman, Joey Piazza, Bob Scerbo, Ralf Bury and Rob Dolecki who all took part in the excursion. Talk about a lot of pedaling to make this one happen!
“In celebration of last night’s GOD HOUR at Shabu Tatsu, I’ve decided to upload this video of our ride through all 5 boros back in May of 2010. This video premiered at Grady’s Rooftop party in Little Italy and was added to the bonus section of AM:PM#2. This ride was also featured in a Dig Bmx Magazine…Unfortunately, I don’t remember the number of the issue.”
