It’s good to see some new products popping up lately after a bit of a dry spell it seemed like. Merritt have released the brand new Brandon Begin signature Phantom Tire for the riders out there looking for some bigger tires. The Phantom tire comes in a huge 2.5″ tize with a unique tread pattern that mixes smooth and micro-knob tread patterns and a harder sidewall for grinds. Profile Racing – Mark Mulville “Covid Summer”
It’s always a good day when there’s new Mark Mulville footage to check out! Here’s a fresh one featuring Mark going to work on trails, skateparks, street spots and more down in Florida for Profile Racing. Despite COVID putting a huge damper on this summer and any plans of travel, Mark made the most of it and kept his distance to make this gem packed with style and a good mix of tricks. Wethepeople “Out of Line” Premiere Trailer
The full “Out of Line” video from Wethepeople is dropping August 22nd online for everyone’s viewing pleasure. They have 4 different premieres for Youtube coming so that everyone can enjoy it at a reasonable time. The video will feature riding from Felix Prangenberg, Dillon Lloyd, Dan Kruk, Jordan Godwin and more of the squad. This one has been in the works for two years and somehow they managed to keep the VX running. After the premieres, the video will be available on DVD and a digital download so you can enjoy it again and again!
“OUR FIRST EVER FULL-LENGTH VIDEO (ETC) WAS FILMED USING THE ICONIC SONY VX1000 WAY BACK IN 2004. FAST-FORWARD TO 2018 AND WE DECIDED TO START A NEW PROJECT USING THE TRUSTY VX ONCE MORE.
AT THE TIME WE FELT LIKE WE WERE TAKING ON A HUGE TASK – BUT HERE WE ARE THOUGH, TWO YEARS LATER AND IT WASN’T EVEN THAT BAD. WE USED AROUND 100 TAPES IN TOTAL, CLOCKED THOUSANDS OF MILES IN THE VAN AND MANAGED TO FLY AROUND THE WORLD A FEW TIMES JUST BEFORE THE WORLD ITSELF LOCKED DOWN WITH A GLOBAL PANDEMIC. IT WASN’T THE ENDING WE ASKED FOR, BUT AS DEADLINES GO IT WAS PRETTY ABRUPT.

X Games Real BMX 2020 – Trailer
There’s been a lot of events cancelled in 2020, but the X Games Real BMX video contest didn’t get shut down! Here’s the trailer for the videos that are set to drop August 17th! This year, like all the past years, is absolutely STACKED and it’s looking like these guys went all out to produce some heavy videos. We’re especially excited to see Julian Molina‘s video since he’s been killing it with one leg for years and never disappoints with his videos. Either way, this is going to be a super good mix of riding from each of these guys. So get stoked.

This is definitely a rad pick since Jeff has done so much for BMX as a rider and a dude putting on events, filming videos and more. Hell, even Jeff had an influence on why this website exists today. It’s always a good day when a full-length video comes out featuring a ton of riders we’re not too familiar with. The “Souvenir” video is just shy of a half hour featuring a ton of different riders going to work on street spots and parks out in Arizona. We’re glad because there’s a lot of awesome stuff in there. Shot over two to three years in Arizona, with one trip to California for good measure.
