Scotty Cranmer is one of those riders who never fails to blow my mind. Every new edit he produces is wilder than the last and he can ride a Dew Tour or X Games course and take home some hardware then show up to the Texas Toast Jam and kill it like all he rides is weird stuff all day. Scotty has definitely turned a lot of heads in BMX (and probably outside of BMX) over the years, and I figured it was time to get him an interview on here. Anton Arnarson Interview

Well, unless you have been avoiding the web videos these days, there’s no way you haven’t seen one of Anton’s edtis that have been popping up like crazy. From the edits I was able to gather that he was from Iceland, he had a big bag of tricks, wears a helmet and recently took a trip to the U.S. That’s about all I knew, so I figured it would be cool to find out a little bit more about the guy. Tony Mortenson Interview

I’m sure as time goes on, there’s more and more names that the new kids just don’t remember or know about. One guy, who’s a legend in the Minnesota scene and in the BACO days, Tony Mortenson, may be one of those guys. A few years back we did an interview to catch up with him and he was living a completely different life from today. Last year, Tony took a real bad crash that landed him in the hospital holding on for his life. Luckily, things worked out and he’s still with us here today, riding and enjoying life. I figured it would be cool to catch up with him and find out how the accident changed his life and what he’s up to these days. Let’s take a look.. This one turned out real interesting.

Industry: Tim “Fuzzy” Hall

When I think about people who have done a ton for BMX that work in the industry, one of the first names to come to mind is Fuzzy Hall. Tim is one of those very few people who can have anything thrown at them and turn it into something awesome. I don’t even want to know how long of a resume he has with roles from being a pro rider to team manager, shop owner, course designer, event coordinator and more. I’ve wanted to do this interview for a while, but needed to wait till the timing was right. Well, that time came and here it is. Anyone wanting to work in the industry should find this inspiring…

Insight: Deluxe PAModel

A few months back, we caught up with Mark Potoczny to talk about how things were going with Deluxe and to talk a little bit about what he had in the works with his signature frame. One thing that I think a lot of people don’t know about BMX products, especially signature products, is the steps and how long it can take to get something from the idea to final production model. There’s a lot of options and angles to consider when designing a frame and Mark has been finding that out the last few months. I figured we could catch up with Mark Potoczny and Mark Noble (owned of Deluxe) to talk about how the process is coming along and find out what they have decided on for the production model.
