I was told some real good things about him and knew that it was definitely something that had to be done. Adam is a real talented kid on and off a bike, and knows what it takes for a good time. Micky Marshall is one of those guys who can kill it on a bike, but it seems like he doesn’t get enough attention. To be entirely honest, I really didn’t know a whole lot about Micky. If you happened to catch the Rapid Response I did with Brian on the Dig site a few weeks ago, you might have noticed him talking about being back at DuFFs. I was always following what Brian was doing with Beloe fairly close, so when he told me it was getting shut down months back, I was curious what had happened. I finally got Brian to give me the story about what happened, and where things are going for him. You can also see what Jimmy LeVan’s new shoe will look like, along with the new G4 shoe. If you would have asked me who Andrew Brady was about two months ago, I probably wouldn’t be able to tell you anything. Then Tom Arkus suggested him when I was looking to redesign the site and that all changed. Andrew is a real talented guy who not only rides but does web design, photography, filming and editing also. I’m sure for all the guys who have been riding for years, you can remember your first custom complete you built up. My first was a MacNeil Ruben, with a bunch of Primo, and We The People parts. I remember wanting a MacNeil so bad because their team and everything was awesome. The frame still hangs in my garage to this day, I don’t plan on getting rid of it either. Needless to say I have been a Jay Miron fan for years, and just having a conversation with him at Interbike last year was one of the top things I did while in Las Vegas. It was time to do an interview with him, and this one is broke into two. You can check out some classic photos and some more questions over on the Dig site. Over the course of the next few days there will be three parts posted for some interviews I did with the Madera team, and their chosen filmers for the new Madera video. Each rider on the team picked the filmer for their part and it went from there, and now the video is finishing up at the duplicators and it is time for the release.
This project has been going since the beginning of the winter, so some of the answers might sound a little funny when they refer to the weather just getting snowy, but yeah! Here is part one featuring Jeff Kocsis, Wade Young, Mike Hinkens, and Grant Castelluzzo.
