I don’t remember exactly how I ever came to know Tafari Smith, but it’s been a few years and in that time I’ve realized he’s a rider that not only throws it down on the streets of New York, but he carries one hell of a positive attitude and hustles hard to be his best. Every time I’ve come in contact with him he has been hyped and just happy to be riding on two wheels. Kenneth Tencio Interview

It’s pretty clear what a lot of dedication, motivation and passion can get you in BMX and Kenneth Tencio is one of those people who is a perfect example of it. After years of hard work and dedication he is finally getting the well deserved support he needs to explore the world and show everyone just what he is capable of. This rider, who comes from the little country of Costa Rica, has been blowing minds the past few years on ramps, the streets and trails through the different edits he has put out and the different contests he has been able to make it to.
Yesterday, it was announced that Kenneth had joined the Superstar team with a banger of an edit that really got us thinking that we didn’t know very much about the guy. We figured it was time we got ahold of him to find out just what his story really is. Let’s see what he had to say!

Quicky: Kris Fox

We had the opportunity to do an interview with Kris Fox way back in 2012. Needless to say, his style and amazing personality has taken him a lot of places since we first got the chance to get to know him. Now days, it would be hard for anyone who rides BMX to not recognize his riding from the insane nac-nac’s he does at the trails to the fast, smooth roasting he does on the cement parks out in California.
We bumped into Kris at the X-Games the other weekend and as always it was awesome just to see the guy. It got us thinking that it was more than a perfect time to catch up and find out everything he has going on from traveling to some fresh signature parts and more! Let’s see what he had to say!

Zach Rogers Interview

Growing up, you tend to see the world as a kid that has the time and energy to hang out and ride all day with these older people all around that work without really noticing the people in that transitional period from all the time in the world to not enough time. When you start getting older and working becomes a necessity, you find yourself in that transitional period where you are doing as much as possible to juggle work, school, riding and everything that comes along with this whole “life” thing. One person who clearly knows how to handle this balancing act like a champion is Zach Rogers. Between finishing up school, crushing some intense licensing tests, traveling Europe, riding, filming and a ton of life, he was able to find some time to take on a bunch of questions about everything going on with him lately. Insight: Kink – 2015 Complete Bikes

There’s something about BMX that is pretty awesome to watch and that is the evolution of the quality that it is producing. Everything from the riding and videos to the products that brands are producing are getting better and better. Anyone who has spent a number of years riding BMX will tell you that complete bikes now days are a million times better than the bikes that they were on when they first started. It’s been pretty amazing watching things change over the years and there’s without a doubt that this year we’ve seen some of the most impressive bikes yet.
The guys over at Kink have released their new 2015 bikes worldwide and just looking at all 13 of the bikes they cooked up for this year, it’s easy to see they’ve put a lot of time and effort into their new range. We were thinking about how much goes into creating these bikes, so we figured it would be cool to catch up with Kink’s product manager, Matt Antes, to talk about what it took to get the bikes from the initial idea to the final product that you can pick up in the shop now! Quicky: Chris Childs

I’m trying to think of the first time I had the chance to meet Chris Childs… I want to say it was at the last DK Dirt Circuit, but it might have been before that. That’s beside the point other than that Chris has been absolutely killing it with his style for years. It seems like after all those years of killing it, he’s finally getting the support he deserves! With joining the Sunday and Merritt pro teams at the start of the year and getting an invite to ride X-Games Dirt here in just under two weeks, we figured it was a good time to catch up with him to see what’s new with him! Jake Petruchik Interview

Jake is one of those riders who has been on our radar for quite a while, popping up from time to time in a new edit and always putting together some real good riding. Over the years, he’s rode for a few different companies and it seemed like every time we saw something new from him he progressed a ton and continued to get smoother and make his riding look more and more effortless. After years of hard work, this Rochester, New York native joined the Kink Bike Co. team which is also based out of the same city he grew up riding in. The new opportunity seems like a perfect fit and based off the welcome edit that dropped recently, we couldn’t wait any longer to get ahold of Jake to find out what his story is!
