Damn… Not only is my yard covered in snow, my desk is covered in dust…

The other day I had a copy of the long awaited Props “Owned” video pop up in my mail box. This new video featuring Alex Magallan, Tom Villarreal, Jason Phelan, Dan Foley and Drew Bezanson was a year in the making with guys like Stewart Johnson, Terrell Gordy, Will Evans and Rich Forne behind the lenses. With a line up like that, it’s hard to imagine any sort of disappointment, so let’s just take a look at what I thought.

Review: The Hunt DVD + Giveaway

Well, the day has finally come to check out the final product from The Hunt. I grew up being a big fan of the original Aspire videos, so when Justin Kosman told me he was working on a similar video contest with a twist, I was more than psyched to see what would come from it. It was cool to watch the video develop from the concept to a full blown contest with a ton of real good riders and filmers submitting parts to finding out who made the cut. I received my copy in the mail the other day and what do I find? An extra copy to GIVE AWAY to one of you guys! So if you want to win the video, all you have to do is do one or two things. 1.) comment “I want that DVD!” in the comments on this post, or 2.) head over to The Union’s Facebook and comment on the photo of the DVD case “I want that dvd!”… easy as that! Insight: Case Issue 7

Last night, the new issue of Case showed up in the mail. I was psyched for two reasons… One because I had been hearing good things about this issue, and two because that meant I’d be able to do one of my favorite things in the world to do on a saturday morning; kick back, listen to music, sip on coffee and read a new magazine.

Issue 7 features a Mark Mulville Interview, the Duo UK Trip, Profile Europe trip, Marcas Grubbs Interview, Deluxe Trails Trip and the Punjab letter. Each of these features were all real solid reads. I was especially impressed with the Punjab letter. I’m definitely looking forward to what he does with his life once he gets out of prison. Mark Mulville’s and Marcas Grubb’s interview’s were both real good reads and each of the team trips had some damn solid photos.

I’m still a real big fan of their larger format Case runs with a slightly larger overall size of the magazine in comparison to some of the others out. Definitely get your hands on this one. It’s cheap since all you have to pay is shipping…

Review: FBM – Thousand Yard Stare + Trailer

The other day, Steve Crandall hit me up with an email that simply said “What are you doing?”. I responded with “Not too much. What’s going on?”. This isn’t normal, so I knew something was up. I just didn’t know what. The next email popped up and asked if I would be interested in checking out the brand new FBM full-length DVD “Thousand Yard Stare”. Video? What? Hell yeah I would! Shortly after I was sent a sneak peek link with a password to get a special screening. We decided it would be pretty cool to drop the trailer with the review. So you’re getting a double whammy today.
