A few weeks ago when I was building up my new setup, I decided it was probably time to try out a set of new forks. I don’t know if you have looked around much lately or not, but there are A LOT of different options. I counted 46 on one of the mail-orders. After looking around quite a bit, I decided on picking up the Shadow Conspiracy Vultus forks. A friend of mine had picked up a set and I liked the feel of his bike, so why not? Right? Review: AOTC 2 + Giveaway

A few weeks back I posted an interview with Chris Zeppieri and CB Coombs about the new AOTC video. We talked about what it took to make it, who was in it and what people could expect from it. Obviously, reading about it and actually seeing it are two entirely different things. I liked what I was hearing in the interview and figured I needed to check this one out. A few weeks ago, I got my hands (or feet?) on a pair of the new colorway of the Aaron Ross signature Etnies Number mids. I figured there had been a lot of hype about the shoes, and they seemed to be designed real well to hold up to BMX. At least, I’d hope so. A few weeks back, Derek Adams and I were talking about the Orchid On the Horizon we are working on. We started talking about their new DVD that was nearing completion at the time entitled “Footwork”. Derek asked if I would be interested in checking out an advanced copy. There’s no way I could say no with guys like Van Homan, Niki Croft, Brian Hunt and Brian Wizmerski in the line up. Fast forward to a few days ago and I get a package in the mail from Pennsylvania with a DVD enclosed.
