It’s crazy to think it has been 29 months since Scotty Cranmer‘s accident that turned his whole world upside down. In that time, Scotty has made some amazing progress from being in a wheelchair to being able to ride his bike and more. Scotty decided it was time to try and see if he could swim, so this is a look at him giving that a shot. It’s another step forward, and the progress keeps happening! Hell yeah, Scotty!

I take you all on a bike ride and I talk about my move to Florida for the winter and I also attempt to go swimming for the first time since my accident and it turns out that I currently can’t swim! The scene in London has always been filled with a ton of awesome riders, and we’re always stoked to check out a fresh video from the city. Here’s a new one Tom Edge put together featuring Connor Bedford, Ezzo Trouble, Chris Brazel, Tim Evans, Dan Hartley, Alban Leiper, Tom and more going to work on street spots and a little bit of park action. Tom might not be able to ride for a bit with his separated shoulder (which seriously sucks since that one takes quite a while for it to fully heal. Been there), but he was at least able to put together this real dialed video. Hit play and take a look!
“On Friday I got hit by an Uber Driver riding home from work. The resulting separated shoulder means I’ll be off the bike for a little while. So rather than vegetate in front of the TV, I threw this together. Filmed over the last 6 weeks with all the usual dudes throughout London. Fingers crossed I’ll be back in the streets soon. Fuck the Uber driver.

Over the years we’ve seen a number of videos teaching people how to hang five on a BMX bike, and we’ve also seen the “Hang Five Machine” come out a few times as well. Essentially what is is just your bars, stem and front wheel, eliminating the bike completely so you can figure out your balance point. Big Boy decided he wanted to learn hang five’s properly, so he had Scotty Cranmer give him some tips with the help of the hang five machine. Hit play and see how it all worked out! If that doesn’t work for you, you could always make a nose manual adaptor?
