Hit play to take in all the fine details, then learn more about the frame below. After that, you can check out full specs and details over on the Federal Bikes website!

“Dan Lacey is undoubtedly one of the UK’s most prolific street riders whose reputation for dropping some of the gnarliest moves in BMX is undisputed. 2015 marks 10 years since Dan joined Federal and 5 years since his first frame was released. Over the years minor revisions have been made to Dan’s frame, but to celebrate his 10th anniversary we completely redesigned his frame.

Dan was very specific about having chain adjusters built into his dropouts, so we designed an investment cast dropout to be as minimal as possible, while incorporating the adjusters. The standover height has been increased from 8.8” to 9” high, and we’ve designed a new custom investment cast seat clamp which is also available separately. The frame has been finished off with Dan’s inverted ‘F’ logo on the rear seat stays, as well as on the top tube gusset. The frame also has all new graphics designed by Rich Forne in collaboration with Dan.”

Battle Clip – Reed Stark VS Tech COmbo

June 21, 2018

Sometimes the technical grind combos take a little more work. Reed Stark battled it out with this one.

Over the years we have seen Reed Stark pull off some insane riding, and he’s usually real good at popping it off right away. But, when you get technical, sometimes things take a few more tries than anyone would like. Here’s a look at Reed battling it out with one hell of a grind combo while filming for Team Casey‘s Mongoose Jam video.

“Reed Stark excels in the one and done situations. Put him in front of 20-plus stair rail and he’ll handle it in a blink of an eye. But while at the 2018 Mongoose Jam Reed ended up going to war with a mouthful of a tech combo—feeble hard 180-to-backward pegs-to-fakie. “Battleclip” is a RideBMX feature series which aims to showcase the inner-struggle that riders overcome as they battle inanimate objects with their bikes, and this was one hell of a battle.” – Ride BMX
