If you caught the news about Austin Augie in a Dior ad that featured a BMX bike, you’re about to have your mind melt…
UPDATE: It would appear the High Snobiety crew got it wrong.. Only $3,200… Not $32,000 as previously stated… Still…
The other day we caught a look at that Dior ad that featured Austin Augie and a “Dior BMX bike”. We just figured it was cool they at least used a BMX rider in the ad, right? Then we got a message this morning from Jon over at Can You Dig It pointing out that the bike will be making an appearane at the Sole DXB Streetwear Festival, according to High Snobiety, where they’ll likely be pushing for sales. The kicker? The bike will be available for the low price of $3,200… No, not $320… $3,200… Three Thousand Two Hundred doll hairs… Dollars… Yeah, Dollars. What’s even better? They will have have 70 of these bikes available for you at Dior boutiques to get your hands on if you’re ready to drop a few pay checks on the bike. Obviously being a “designer piece”, it warrants a little higher price, but yeah… You can get the full details over on the High Snobiety website.
… And we thought Nigel’s was crazy.
It looks like Kriss Kyle is the latest rider to split up his riding between BMX and the bigger bikes. He’s now on Specialized UK for MTB!
If you follow Kriss Kyle on Instagram, this might not be a huge surprise, but it looks like it’s offical… Kriss is joining the likes of guys like Ryan Nyquist and Drew Bezanson who have doubled up their action to ride BMX and MTB professionally. Above is his first video for Specialized that undoubtedly turned out rad. Of course Kriss will continue to crush it for BSD on his BMX bike, but he’ll be splitting up time to ride the 29″ wheels, too.

“Eleven years of dedication to one wheel size is something to be applauded. Traveling around the world to some of the best spots and sending tricks never seen before. That’s another. But jumping off a 20” BMX, onto a 29er and having the skill to pin those same tricks? That takes some serious balls.
