BSD – Denim Cox In South Africa

2017 Vans BMX Pro Cup Huntington Beach – Course Preview

Curious what the course is like for the Vans BMX Pro Cup in Huntington Beach? Here’s a quick video where we take a ride with Ryan Nyquist as he follows Gary Young while he flows through the bowl! It’s safe to say we’ll be seeing plenty of wild riding going down in the contest.

Par BMX – Rainy Day with the BSD Crew

Some of the BSD crew are over in Latvia cruising with the Par BMX. They caught a bit of rain so they headed indoors for a session at the local skatepark. Here’s a batch of clips they stacked while they were riding! Plenty of real solid riding to see in this one. Enjoy!

Sunday Bikes Mark Burnett Excelsior Frame BMX

Sunday Bikes have released the Mark Burnett signature Excelsior frame in two new colors; Translucent Cream Soda and Flat Black, to go along with the existing clear coat raw color. The Excelsior frame is made from 100% post-weld heat-treated 4130 chromoly tubing with a 75-degree head tube angle, 71-degree seat tube angle, 11.8″ bottom bracket height, 9″ standover height and a 13.25″ – 13.5″ chainstay length. The frame features a 5″ tall integrated head tube, internal gussets on the double butted top and down tubes, a miter cut top tube and butted seat tube, Mid bottom bracket, Integrated seat post clamp (except on the Raw version), tapered seat and chain stays for extra 2.40″ tire clearance and hollow 8mm drop outs with integrated chain tensioners. This is a BRAKELESS frame, so there are no mounts.

The Excelsior frame is available in 20.75″ and 21″ top tube lengths, colors of Translucent Cream Soda, Flat Black and Clear Coat Raw and weighs in at 5 lbs. even. Odyssey BMX Half Bash Sprocket

Is it time for a new BMX Sprocket? Here’s a look at the new Halfbash Sprocket that Odyssey just released. This sprocket is made from CNC machined 7075-T6 aluminum with square teeth for better chain alignment, two sprocket bolt holes, 4 larger holes for weight reduction and 3 bolt holes for the removable and replaceable plastic bash guard.

Odyssey BMX Half Bash Sprocket

The Halfbash is designed so that you can run the sprocket with one guard, two guards or no guards. It comes in 25-tooth and 28-tooth sizes and black for the only color. The sprocket is available through BMX shops and mail-orders that carry Odyssey BMX for $59.99. No word on the price for the replaceable guards, but we’ll update this as soon as we know that detail.
