Hellride – Artem Kladov: Lost Winter Clips

August 4, 2017

We’re not quite sure how this footage didn’t make its way online until now, but Hellride over in Russia decided it was time to put out this short but sweet BMX video featuring Artem Kladov getting some riding time in at one of the indoor parks over there. Artem has a street style that mixes grinds with style that is hard to look away from. This has a bunch of real solid clips packed into this one, so hit play and enjoy. Just try not to think about the winter that’ll be here way too soon.

“At the end of winter, Artem came to Moscow, and he simply could not help visiting Moscow’s parks, although the main purpose of the trip was not skating. Why did not Edith come out earlier? Secret. Why did you leave now? Look in our catalog and you will see that we have a large supply of spare parts and clothes from Federal Bikes!” – Hellride

Profile Racing – Tech Tip: Spline Drive Differential

August 4, 2017

Profile Racing takes a look at the evolution of the Spline Drive for them…

Profile Racing Spline Drive BMX sprocket

Over the years we’ve seen Spline Drive take over from the first designs that Tree Bicycle Co. released and pretty much all brands have gone on to also use on a sprocket or two in their line up. Profile Racing is one of those brands that has produced some amazing Spline Drive sprockets and they’ve managed to evolve from the 19mm spline drive and include the 22mm and 24mm sizes that have become more common over the years. Profile Racing just released their latest Tech Tip that looks back at the evolution and how they’ve managed to create sprockets that accept spline drive and regular bolt on sprockets in all sizes. You can check it out on the Profile Racing website right here — Tech Tip: Spline Drive Differential (Freestyle)

Soulcycle x USWA – Twan van Wijk & Joeri Veul

August 4, 2017

Here’s a rad one we had sent in featuring Twan van Wijk and Joeri Veul putting in work on spots around Amsterdam for the Soulcycle and Urban Sports Week Amsterdam video contest. Both of these guys had a month to film this part and it’s safe to say they had plenty of luck stacking clips on some amazing spots all around the city. This is a real good watch from start to finish, so hit that play button and enjoy!

“Shooting a LEGIT split part in one month time is no problem for these guys! Amazing riding in Amsterdam, so sick. Congrats with the 2nd place dudes, well deserved!” – Soulcycle

Colony BMX – Tim Storey 2017 Video

August 3, 2017

Moritz Nussbaumer OFF Wethepeople

August 3, 2017

Well, here’s some surprising news we definitely did not see coming. Wethepeople have announced that they have let Moritz Nussbaumer go from their Pro Team. It sounds like Moritz left on good terms based off their Instagram posts, but we’re not quite sure what lead to the decision. It almost sounds like Moritz might have another opportunity that he’s pursuing… We’ll keep you posted if we hear more! Until then, get the official word below!

As of today Mo Nussbaumer will no longer be riding for WETHEPEOPLE. We could not have asked for a more giving, supporting and friendly rider to have had on our team. The past 6 years have been awesome with Mo, we've had so many good times together on trips and filming for video projects, it's been a fun journey together. We thank Mo for all his hard work over the years and we wish him all the best in his future endeavours ✌? Photo @fo0man #wethepeoplebmx

A post shared by Wethepeople Bike Co (@wethepeoplebmx) on Aug 2, 2017 at 10:03am PDT

Here is what Moritz had to say about it…

“I am no longer riding for @wethepeoplebmx. I had some good years with the company and can definitely say that I have learned a lot. #thanks” – Moritz Nussbaumer

The other day we took at the latest Aaron Ross Marana Vulc colorway, now today we’re going to check out Nathan Williams‘ latest color on the Etnies Jameson Vulc for Fall 2017. This time around Nathan decided to go with a “Dark Grey and Black” color that almost looks more like a Navy Blue color from the photos we have seen.

The Jameson Vulc starts out with a suede upper with a silver logo, black with grey tags and round shoe laces, along with a matching fabric tongue. This shoe also features a lower toe vamp giving it a low profile and sleek look. Down below you can find an egg crate Midsole construction with a Vulcanized outsole that uses the RCT tread pattern on the bottom that’ll give you plenty of grip on the pedals. Inside you can find a recycled open cell PU foam insole that uses Etnies STI Foam Lite 1 technology to give you plenty of cushion for comfort and shock absorption.

The Nathan Williams Fall 2017 Jameson Vulc colorway is available now for $64.99 on the Etnies Webstore and through BMX shops and mail-orders that carry Etnies worldwide now. You can also pick this shoe up on Amazon as well.

What do you think of the shoe? Do you have any questions? Let us know what you’re thinking in the comments below!
