Zach Newman – That Sucked

About two weeks ago, we posted a clip of Zach Newman trying a HUGE gap at Ollies Skatepark, but coming up short and slamming pretty hard. It was pretty gnarly, but he luckily didn’t get hurt other than a few bruises. Zach mentioned there were a few more angles from it and he would send those over when he got them. Today is the day! Take another look at a crazy gap gone wrong… That sucked.

Zach Newman tries to push the limits of what’s possible with probably the wildest transfer attempt ever at Ollies skatepark. You’ve probably already seen the other crash clip (embedded again below). Here are the other angles from my cameras, including a helmet cam shot. I can only assume Zach is a superhuman because he walked away from this. Legend in my book for sure!

Rob Annis – Chainless

Over the years, we have seen chainless riders pop up a few times. There was a time when it became a weird trend for a bit, but it died off pretty quickly. Most just ended up filming a few clips because their chain broke. This new video featuring Rob Annis is full commitment to the chainless thing. No sprocket or chain can be found on his bike and it looks like it doesn’t slow him down much. Here’s a video packed with clips he’s stacked from street and skatepark sessions with plenty of spins, grinds, roof drops, crankflips, barspins and more. Not only is the riding impressive, but the film work for this one is on point, too. Take a look… It’s riding like this that might convince a few people to give it a shot.

When you think of technical grind combos, there’s a good chance Grant Castelluzzo‘s riding instantly comes to mind. Grant is notorious for putting together some ridiculous grind combos with all for our his pegs that usually require a rewind or two to fully understand what he did. Here’s his latest for Profile Racing that has a pretty laid back vibe to it, but the riding is so technical that’ll definitely have your head spinning a bit. Take a look!

Well, that wasn’t a long wait! The teaser video for Eclat‘s new “Northern Rails” video dropped yesterday and now we get a look at the full video! This video features Jordan Godwin, Harry Mills-Wakley and Jordan O’Kane going to work on street spots up in the northern part of the U.K! Take a look at what went down from a ride on the train, one trip to the hospital and a ton of spots that were put to heavy, heavy use.

There’s no denying that that Vans BMX Pro Cup is a super, super serious contest that is very competitive… Alright, maybe it’s more about having fun and sending it than anything, but yeah! Vans had Steve Crandall and his missing sleeves go around and give the Pros a hard time to see what they think about the event. Plenty of laughs in this one.
