Eclat – Territories: Alex Kennedy & Bruno Hoffmann

When you see Bruno Hoffmann and Alex Kennedy‘s name pop up, you should know by now that you’re about to see something wild. Eclat teamed up with DIG to send Alex and Bruno to China to see what the place had to offer up for spots for these two to slay! Needless to say, these guys matched the heat and dropped some serious hammers!

“Back in October of last year we started a new DIG travel project. For the first one we teamed up with official partner brands Éclat BMX and WETHEPEOPLE and selected two riders from each brand to accompany us to a city none of us had ever been to or even knew about. Ningbo is about 2.5 hours south of Shanghai in China and had more than enough good spots and interesting locals to make for an epic trip.

Episode 1 features Alex Kennedy and Bruno Hoffmann (Eclat) and we’ve got 2 more episodes from this seres to follow. The 2nd will feature Dillon Lloyd and Ed Zunda (WTP) and the third episode will feature our ‘In The Cut’ behind the scenes footage from the whole trip.

In conjunction with this project we have printed 75 limited edition 64 page photo books with images from the trip. Books include FREE DIG, Eclat and WETHEPEOPLE stickers. Look for that on our webstore tomorrow.

Here’s some news we’re really excited to let you guys know about! After taking a little hiatus from doing shirts and everything, we’re bringing it back! We just launched our new ONLINE STORE which features our new Union Eagle shirt that we had designed by Paul Cvikevich! The shirts are available in a couple different colors and sizes Small – Double XL between the black and white logos! You can check out both styles below!

This super-soft t-shirt that features our new Union Eagle logo designed by Paul Cvikevich with the black font!

Made from 100% cotton, except for heather colors, which contain polyester.

The plan is to use the money generated from sales to hire more freelance artists that ride BMX to design shirts, as well as help pay for filmers, photographers and writers to contribute to the site! Another big goal that we’re working toward is eventually eliminating all advertising from the site, so know that buying a shirt will 100% go back into supporting BMX UNION and future projects! Billy Perry – GoPro BMX Riding In NYC 6

Billy Perry and Anthony Panza strapped the GoPro Cameras on for another round of POV riding around New York City. Hit play to watch them ride spots, navigate through tight traffic, skitch rides on the back of trucks, session flatbed trailers in the middle of traffic and more. As always, this is a real entertaining watch, so hit play and take it all in!

Ben Lewis OFF Fit Bike Co.

Well… Here’s some news we DID NOT expect to see today. Ben Lewis has announced that he has decided to part ways with Fit Bike Co. after 11 years on their team! Ben cited “creative differences” in his reasoning. We’re not quite sure what all went down, but it was enough for Ben to decide to leave the team. It’s pretty crazy to think about since Ben has been apart of the Fit Bike Co. team for so long.

Even though Ben has just left the Fit team, we can only imagine it won’t be long before Ben finds himself a new home. We could see Federal Bikes picking him up maybe? Anyone care to take a guess at who he might ride for next? Let us know in the comments below…

Aitken setup that he’s running decked out top to bottom in parts from Fit, G-Sport and Duo Brand. Vans Pro Cup – Ryan Nyquist Follow Cam with Jason Watts

There’s been a ton of hype for the Vans Pro Cup going on this week and it’s for obvious reason… The contest series is going to kick a lot of ass. If you’re like the majority of us that weren’t invited to ride the contest, then you’re probably stuck trying to imagine how fun the bowl in Sydney is to ride… Well, you’re in luck because Vans strapped a camera on Ryan Nyquist and had his follow Jason Watts as he took a lap through the bowls countless lines. Check out what Jason threw down! Expect things to get wild this weekend when the contest kicks off.

Substance In The City – Episode 6: Malaga

The Substance BMX crew are back with another round of their “Substance In The City” series. This time around it looks like the crew decided to take a little trip south to Malaga, Spain to take in some sunshine, spots and the amazing skateparks the city has. Here is a raw cut of footage they collected during their stay. It sounds like we’ll be getting a proper edit out of this trip, so that is bound to kick ass since this footage is solid and we would imagine they saved the good stuff for that.

“When we were out in Malagashire we made sure to use on of the days to film a special Substance In The City. From the apartment, to a quick ride street then on to Fuengirola skatepark followed by a nice walk up the castle.
