“Nearly 4K” Files – California Trip 2

February 20, 2017

The Nearly BMX crew took more than one shot at spots in California for the “Nearly 4K” video.

Here’s a second round of footage featuring Alex Donnachie, David Grant, Kriss Kyle and more from a trip out to California that they took to film for the “Nearly 4K” video! Much like the first trip, these guys were super productive and ended up with a TON of amazing clips from curved wallrides, ditches, ramps and more that they caught some riding time on! Hit play and enjoy!

After you watch that, you can enjoy the full “Nearly 4K” DVD online RIGHT HERE!

Isaiah Johnson Winter 2017 Edit

February 20, 2017

Milwaukee’s Isaiah Johnson coming through with a whole bunch of footage he has collected over the course of the past few months during his sessions at 4Seasons Skatepark. Like most dudes from that area, Isaiah is a street machine, but he’s not scared to send it over the box jumps, too. Hit play for plenty of grinds, some surprise supermans, crankflips, flairs, spins and much more. Plenty of dialed footage to take in, in this one.

“It’s cold in Wisconsin and I am always at my local park Four Seasons, so I decided it was time to make a new winter edit cause I have been learning lots of new things and progressing so I felt it was right to get it out there and show the people what I do and what I love the most. I hope you guys enjoy this cause I worked hard for some of these clips and let me know what you think! Thank you to everyone that helped film and thank you for watching!”

Scotty Cranmer – Getting My Forehead Back

February 20, 2017

A video giving you a look at Scotty Cranmer’s head post skull surgery!

Last week Scotty Cranmer had surgery to get his skull back after a few months of having a missing piece to allow for his brain to heal from his accident. Scotty decided to record the whole process with a few words before the surgery, then a little post-surgery footage. After that, we get some updates from Scotty over the course of a few days at home. It’s awesome seeing him looking like he used to minus the big line of stitches across the top of his head!

Just as a heads up, this video is a bit graphic, but it’s amazing seeing the before and after!

“So the time has finally come, my last surgery in what has been probably the longest journey of my entire life. When my accident first happened in Vegas a few months ago I had some complications with one of my surgeries. As a result of that I had a really bad brain bleed and the only way to fix that was if the removed the front portion of my skull. As you all know I have been pretty excited to have my skull put back in, but I ended up getting a plastic piece made perfectly for my head to put back in because my original skull was to badly damaged in the crash. The surgery went great, I have some footage of before and after the surgery, and then Big Boy came to check up on me and you guys will get to see the end result at my house. Its crazy think to think that this was the last major thing I had to do other than just recover, but it is so awesome to see myself in the mirror again with my normal look. If you guys have any question for me and the Big Boy about the entire experience we are doing our first live stream tomorrow at 4pm to answer any of your guys questions, so be there! Thank you so much to everyone that subscribes to the channel, likes, comments, and continues to show there support. I really appreciate it. Love the online crew that has come along with this channel, hope you guys enjoyed this one!”

Frostbike 2017 – Subrosa Brand

February 20, 2017

The final stop at Frostbike 2017! Let’s see what Subrosa had on display!

After checking out The Shadow Conspiracy’s Frostbike setup, we wanted to get a look at what Subrosa also had on display! They only had a few items, but there were a few new items to take in, so let’s get into this one!

Up top and right here is a look at the new Happy Hour seat that’ll be dropping sometime later this year. The seat is loaded with different bottle caps giving it a unique look.

Here’s a look at Subrosa’s Magnum full guard sprockeet in the new Silver colorway that’ll be available on a few of their parts.

The Chula Upload top load stem is this new Mint green color that will also be making an appearance in 2017 with that Silver color.

Lahsaan Kobza‘s new Code peg that comes with a bar of wax!

Subrosa have 17 different complete bikes from little beginner bikes on up to their 26″ bike and everything in between. Here’s a look at just two of those bikes! You can check out the full range here — Subrosa 2017 Complete Bikes!

The Combat Light from Subrosa is now available in black, clear / white and orange! The lights have three settings, on, slow blink and fast blink with bright LED light bulbs to make sure people see you when you’re out cruising at night!

That wraps things up for Subrosa at Frostbike 2017! Check out more from the show below…

Frostbike 2017 – The Shadow Conspiracy

February 20, 2017

Let’s take a look at what The Shadow Conspiracy had on display at Frostbike 2017!

Our next stop at Frostbike 2017 was The Shadow Conspiracy booth to take a look at what Ronnie Bonner and the rest of the crew have been working on down in Florida. As always, there’s plenty of new items to take a look at, so let’s get into this and see what they have to offer.

Up top is a look at the new Blue and Black colorway.

The new purple swirl parts.

A little red, orange and black swirl for another color option that will be available soon as well.

The Ravager plastic pedals will come in blue and purple as well.

If you are looking for something a little less flashy, here’s the new grey colorway that will be available on a number of Shadow parts this year.

The latest version of the Shadow Conspiracy x Greenfilms Mark II DSLR Backpack comes with this rad color option.

Shadow’s gloves now available in a handful of colors (pun intended there).

Here’s a look at the new Optimized freecoaster. You can get full specs and details on the hub here — Optimized Freecoaster

The new Symbol cassette hub for those of you who want a reliable cassette hub to keep you rolling!

The Supreme Interlock chain is now available in gold for a color option!

The Shadow Conspiracy offer a full range of pads for every situation from their Invisa-Lite series to their new Recovery series pads.

The Shadow Conspiracy have a new helmet coming that people should be really stoked on. It takes the classic look of the Pro-Tec Bucky Lasek helmet everyone loves, and gives it the CPSC certification and reduces a ton of the bulk. The inside features an inner padding shell that’s connected to the plastic outer shell that prevents the padding inside from moving, so impacts are absorbed better in the helmet and not your head. It’s also surprisingly light. So, if you have been considering a helmet, but you hate the way most fit or feel, this might just be what you need. I know I want one.

The new Kevin Kalkoff signature Penumbra seat looking rad

Here’s a look at Lahsaan Kobza‘s latest Penumbra seat.

You know Simone Barraco is doing another seat as well.

Here is a look at Trey Jones‘ new signature seat mixing his love for Dr. Pepper in the mix.

Last but not least, the new Sabotage guard sprocket. This sprocket has a detachable nylon guard that you can rotate or change out after it gets worn out from grinds! Coming soon!

That wraps things up at The Shadow Conspiracy‘s booth at Frostbike 2017!

February 20, 2017

Next stop on the Frostbike 2017 agenda… Stolen Bikes and Fiction BMX!

Cruising right along. Our next stop at Frostbike 2017 was the Stolen Bikes and Fiction BMX booth to get a look at the bikes and parts they had on display. They even had a few new items to check out, so let’s get into this!

Two of the 2017 Stolen complete bikes. You can check out the full range of bikes here — Stolen 2017 Complete Bikes Catalog!

The Fiction Troop Tire has been a popular one with the camouflage color option. You can learn more about this tire right here.

Here is a look at the new Fiction pedals that will be dropping soon. Word on the street is this pedal has become a favorite for the Stolen team. Affordable and get the job done.

Fiction trying out a new colorway on their pegs, pedals and seat that might just appeal to those of you out there looking for something different. I didn’t catch the name of the color, but it’s coming soon, so we’ll keep you posted when it drops!

The new Jackson Ratima signature Highjack frame with some awesome graphics by Eben Fischer.

The new Stolen Sean Morr signature Connoisseur frame is similar to the Jackson Ratima frame, just different geometry and graphics. Overall, sturdy frame that’ll be able to take a beating on the streets.

The Tie Dye Thermalite pedals have been out for a minute now and they will definitely catch your eye.

Stolen’s popular Sumo sprocket is now a full guard, one piece design versus the two piece they used to offer with the detachable guard. Clean and simple.

The new topload stem from Stolen comes in black and polished with these removable plates that come in a copper or black options. Looks pretty rad!

Here’s a look at the new Stolen bar ends that mix the Odyssey Par End with the Merritt bar ends with the built in washer to help keep the end from breaking off as easily. These will be hitting BMX shops and mail-orders soon, so keep an eye out for that if you’re in need of new bar ends and want something that’ll hold up.

That wraps things up with Stolen and Fiction at Frostbike 2017! On to the next one.

The Patron fork in chrome.

They also come in multiple colors for the grip, too.

The Supreme hubs in front and rear!

The Wethepeople 4Star sprocket in oil slick for those of you guys who like slick things.

The Patrol sprocket and stem geared toward the trails riders out there.

Wethepeople throwing it back to their original logo on this retro style full sprocket with the logo etched into it. Who remembers the OG sprockets that had this logo?

A little more slick for you. This time the Index front load stem!

That wraps things up at the Wethepeople booth at Frostbike 2017! Let’s keep moving!

Dylan McCauley – Houston Grind

February 20, 2017

Dylan McCauley goes to work on spots around Houston, Texas…

Last year, Dylan McCauley decided to leave the comfort of home in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and moved down to Houston, Texas with his girl to see what the place had to offer. We oddly enough don’t see many BMX videos coming out of Houston, but based off this video Dylan hasn’t had any trouble finding some dialed spots to go to work on! Hit play to watch him get his grind on, on and off his bike. Dylan is a grind technician and this video will definitely require a few rewinds. Enjoy!

“Dylan McCauley comes through with a plethora of solid moves around his new hometown of Houston, Texas. Dylan is from Milwaukee, rides for Madera/Mutiny, can do backward crooks to hard cabs, and can also whip up a mean espresso.” – Ride BMX
