Simple Session 2017 BMX Finals in Tallinn, Estonia!

– Live Stream starts at 9AM Central Standard Time / 10 AM (New York) / 7AM (California) –

The finals for Simple Session 2017 have arrived! Yesterday we got to watch the Simple Session 2017 Qualifiers that narrowed the massive list of riders that made the trip to Tallinn, Estonia on down to 24 — 12 for street and 12 for park in this new format that seperates the two classes to ensure the judging is fair — of the best BMX riders in the world. Above is the Simple Session 2017 BMX Finals Live Stream presented by Red Bull! Things kick off at 9AM Central Standard Time (10AM East Coast / 7AM West Coast) and it’s bound to be a wild one. It’s hard to believe it’s been a year since BMX had lost Dave Mirra. Yesterday was the one year of his passing and it still doesn’t seem real. X Games re-upped the entire “Remembering Mirra” show that originally aired on TV and everywhere last year taking a look at Dave’s entire life. Let’s watch it again (or for the first time if you missed it last year) to remember everything great about the legend that we lost too soon.

Pawel Piotrowski – Instamix Leftovers 2016

Pawel Piotrowski hit us with a link to a new Instagram compilation he put together from clips he filmed over the course of 2016 that made it to Instagram. As always, Pawel puts his pegs and freecoaster to heavy use with a bunch of grind combos mixed with tailwhips, barspins, nose manuals and more. This has some great riding and rad spots. Can’t go wrong with that combo. Enjoy!

It looks like Desmond Rhodes AKA Blackman has followed through with his promise to drop King of NYC Streets – Part 2 that was that he was hyping up for quite a while now. Simple Session weekend is here and some of the best BMX riders in the entire world have made the annual voyage over to Tallin, Estonia for the contest! Above is the Simple Session live stream from the event so you can check out all the action from your computer, tablet or phone if you didn’t get the chance to check out the contest in person with Darryl Nau keeping the party going! This stream will go all day long with BMX and skate action, then tomorrow finals will be kicking off with another live stream courtesy of Red Bull. Who do you want to see win Simple Session 2017? Let us know in the comments who you think we’ll be seeing on the podium and why! We have a few ideas of who could be taking top spots, but when it comes to this contest, it’s safe to say that it’s nearly impossible to know just who will take the win.

New for 2017, Simple Session have changed up the way they are judging and running riders to separate the park riders from the street riders since it’s incredibly difficult to judge both the same way. This will allow for a more accurate finals that prevents riders that clearly should make finals from getting cut. It will be interesting to see how this year pans out in comparison to previous years as far as results go. Add in that Nate Wessel has once again designed an amazing course with a few subtle changes from 2016 to really get riders pushing every aspect of their riding from blasting big air tricks to technical grinds.
