BSD – “Safari Forever” The Reed Stark story

May 8, 2024

The story of the one and only Reed Stark!

Over the years we’ve watched Reed Stark go from a young gun riding in his parents basement in Minnesota to literally traveling all over the world throwing down wild riding and exploring. Reed seems to pop up in places even when you least expect it. Here’s a hilarious video telling Reed’s story looking back at riding over the years to some hilarious skits and a ton of new footage. If you’re a fan of the movie “Walk Hard”, you’re going to love this.

“One of the most iconic figures in BMX history, Reed Stark (The Human Giraffe) had it all: the women (over 420 served), the friends (Denim Cox, Boogie T) and the rock ‘n’ roll lifestyle (a close and personal relationship with every substance known to man). But most of all, he had the creativity that transformed a dim-witted Minnesota boy into the greatest American BMX-riding, van-dwelling, Kendama-playing renaissance man who never lived. A wild and wicked send-up of every BMX biopic ever made, SAFARI FOREVER: THE REED STARK STORY is gut-busting proof that when it comes to hard rocking, living and laughing, a Safari man is good to find…

Crew Crime

May 8, 2024

Check out this new mix from the streets of the Midwest!

Here’s a fresh video that Brandon Zasada sent through featuring Jake Schaefer, Nick Denhartog, Cory Archer, Elijah Pavin, Joe Schwab, Quentin Beitz, Kreston Shatek and Dustin Manley putting in work out in the streets. I believe this was filmed down in Iowa, so take a look since we don’t see enough BMX videos out of that area.

“First footage shot on a VX2000 while playing with settings and setups. I compiled the clips with inconsistent exposure, resolution, and custom presets to make this. Just some editing practice and fun. Enjoy while the next feature is in the works.

“Watching Matt Nordstrom ride a bike can leave you asking yourself, “Is Nordy even real?” Well, it depends on how you define real. Kanode Knows – Glenn PP Milligan

May 6, 2024

Glenn PP Milligan sits down for an interview on the Kanode Knows Podcast!

The latest round of the Kanode Knows Podcast from Bobby Kanode has arrived! This time around he sits down with the one and only Glenn PP Milligan to talk his story in BMX, his film work and so much more. Glenn is one of those guys who has a long history of full-length video projects to web video projects and much, much more that has a lot of great stories to go with it. If you’re into filming this is one you won’t want to pass up.

“Glenn PP Milligan is a name you’ve heard if you were a part of my generation, the generation before me, or the generation after me. He’s made more BMX full length videos than you’ve made Instagram montages. The best part is he has a great memory and recalls some incredible stuff in this episode. I tried to take it as a learning opportunity to understand what was important for us to remember from the 90s and 2000s, and it was incredible to hear some BTS stories about Dave Mirra and The Gonz. Really hyped on this one.

I was pleasantly surprised with how easy he was to talk to and how humble he is considering the tremendous impact he’s had in BMX. I also admire how he kept/keeps progressing and doing different shit and isn’t afraid of something being goofy as long as he’s trying something new.” – Bobby Kanode

Clement Santos-Silva “Deepstep”

May 6, 2024

Clement Santos-Silva absolutely sends it!

Now this is pretty damn awesome. Clement Santos-Silva
spent two years stacking clips between France and Portugal where he sent it on some crazy gaps, wallrides, drops and more. If you like speed and crazy setups, this one is definitely worth a watch. There’s also a bunch of guest clips with plenty of familiar faces. Take a look!

“Wow! This is probably our favourite video we’ve seen from Clement Santos-Silva to date. From the bonkers crash at the start, multiple close calls with cars, and pedalling flat out at everything really makes this one extra special. Not only that, Clement also interjects his section with clips from the likes of Nico Badet, Jo Gass, Kevin Nikulski, and more.” – DIG

“Deepstep was two years in the making between France and Portugal (Lisboa and Porto), with one year so I could go back and land the last clip.” – Clement Santos-Silva
