BSD – 2017 ALVX V3 Frame
The latest version of Alex Donnachie‘s signature ALVX frame from BSD has arrived. The 2017 ALVX V3 starts out with full 4130 chromoly tubing, a 75.5-degree head tube angle, 71-degree seat tube angle, 11.7″ bottom bracket height, 8.7″ standover height and a 13.5″ – 13″ chainstay length. You can find an integrated head tube, top and down tube gussets, an integrated seat post clamp, Mid bottom bracket, an extra wide rear triangle with curved seat and chain stay bridges to fit 2.40″ tires, curved ends on the stays for peg and hub guard clearance and new Investment Cast dropouts with integrated chain tensioners. The ALVX frame is BRAKELESS so there are no mounts on this frame.
The ALVX V3 frame is available in Tangfastic Orange, Clear Coat Raw and Gloss Black, top tube lengths of 20.3″, 20.6″, 20.8″ and 21″, weighs in at 5 lbs. and a price tag of $366.75.

The Time Out crew hit us with a link to their latest video from some time they spent in Barcelona, Spain. This video features Erik Norrman, John Lind, Robin Törnroos, Mattias Bjärkby, Benjamin Åkerman and Nicholas Jackson all going to work on spots. Although this city has seen thousands of BMX riders and hundreds of videos, it’s still producing. This video has some great riding and some clean film work with a chill vibe. Happy 50th Birthday, Dennis McCoy
What were you doing 50 years ago? It’s safe to say the majority of you reading this right now weren’t in existence and probably wouldn’t be for a number of years. On this day 50 years ago Dennis McCoy was born and it started a road to a very long, very amazing BMX career that is still chugging along! Mat Hoffman put together this rad little video to say Happy Birthday with footage that spans most of his career and even a few before he ever started his Pro career. Hit play and enjoy! If you Subscribe to Freedom BMX on Youtube, you might have noticed they have been uploading a bunch of their older videos to their Youtube channel. This morning we woke up to this Tobias Wicke video from 2012 that was too good not to give a repost. We haven’t seen much from Tobias this past year or so, but it’s safe to say he’s probably still absolutely DESTROYING everything he comes across from his super technical lip tricks to bombing down big rails and more. Best of Garrett Reynolds 2016 Compilation
You can’t go a day without one of these fan compilation videos popping up on Youtube. Somebody went through and grabbed a bunch of Garrett Reynolds‘ clips from this past year and compiled them into one short but sweet edit. This has Instagram clips, a few clips from his Real BMX section and more mixed throughout. All we know is this can’t possibly be all of his best clips because that video would probably be like an hour long, haha. Take a peek!
