Jib-Pan with Kobza, Stark and Varanyak in Tokyo

December 2, 2016

Earlier this year during the the G-Shock Real Toughness contest, Lahsaan Kobza, Reed Stark and Colin Varanyak spent some of their down time out cruising spots. Here’s a video Lahsaan put together filled with the clips they stacked during their time out exploring. As expected, these guys came through with some damn good clips with plenty of grinds to take in. Check it!

“A week spent jibbing in Tokyo, Japan with Lahsaan Kobza, Reed Stark, & Colin Varanyak.

Radio Bikes have been making a big push to expand their team lately and it looks like they aren’t done yet! They just announced that Ricky Grimal is now apart of their squad! Get a few words on the deal below. Expect a real good video here soon.

“We’re hyped as hell to have Ricky Grimal repping Radio in Spain through our friends at 360 Bicycles in Barcelona.

Ricky can normally be found roasting the trails at La Poma Bike Park, or blasting the nearest concrete bowl on his new 21″ Toren setup with Nemsis bars and Istari cranks.

Ricky just sent over some photos of his new setup, and is already hard at work filming for his full welcome edit which will be dropping soon…”

Stranger Trip to Las Vegas

December 2, 2016

Here’s a short but sweet video from some time some of the Stranger spent in Las Vegas recently. This is a pretty short one, so we would imagine they didn’t spend much more than a day or two our cruising spots. Even though it’s short, there is plenty of rad clips to take in. Hit play and enjoy!

“Couple clips Vegas featuring Connor Keating, Nate Richter, and Dylan Stark filmed by Calvin Kosovish.”

Free Billy Perry

December 2, 2016

The other day Billy Perry posted up a video from a little trespassing action him and a few others did to ride a massive water park. The video ended up going viral and it’s currently sitting at over 5 million views. It clearly caught a lot of peoples attention. Unfortunately, Billy’s video also landed him in some trouble and it would appear all hell has broken loose after seeing some of the local news stories that came out from it since he was pretty easy to identify. It would appear Billy has become public enemy number 1 out in New York and we heard rumors he could be hit with some hefty fines because of it. No, he hasn’t been arrested, but there’s no doubt he’s had to talk to a few cops and other people in the past few days. Up top is one of the news stories and here is another news story that really makes it sound like he’s some sort of monster, haha. We loved some of the ways the news described the videos and Billy’s “crew” making this come off like they held the place up at gun point or something. Must be a pretty slow news day for this much attention, haha. On the flip side, maybe the owners of the water park need to thank Billy for getting millions of eyes on his water park… I mean, I definitely would go to that place in the summer.

If these things can’t hold a couple of BMX riders, why are they able to hold a couple thousand gallons of water?

You can watch the video from the session at the water park here.

On another note, the news people calling out Billy and his “crew” and “gang” made us think of these savages.

Jeff Crawn – Beauty is Everywhere

December 2, 2016

Here’s one we dropped the ball on. The other day we checked out this video Kenan Harkin put out on his Youtube channel and we realized the post never actually got posted until now. Kenan caught up with BMX legend Jeff Crawn who was a rider that was definitely making some serious waves back in the day before he unfortunately ended up paralyzed after his forks had snapped in 1993. Kenan recently made a trip out to where Jeff is living these days to take a look at his crazy pond that he has turtles and fish in, talk about and take a look at his history in BMX and then we learn about his photography work that he took up after he had everything taken from him from the crash. This is amazing to watch and it’s a really good reminder of just why it’s so important to keep your bike dialed and be aware of your bike. Unfortunately when Jeff’s accident happened, quality of bikes were NOT anything like they are today. It’s a bummer, but it’s good to see Jef still finding something that keeps him progressing and motivated!

Jake Seeley – Snow Rail Session

December 2, 2016

A video posted by Jake Seeley (@thejakeseeley) on Nov 20, 2016 at 3:53pm PST

If you’re in the northern hemisphere, there’s no doubt that you’re starting to miss summer with the colder temperatures and shorter days. Jake Seeley decided that he wasn’t going to let the snow keep him from getting a session in on a rail that he spotted. Here’s a quick video that should get you in the holiday spirit giving you a look at what he got into during his session. What we want to know is how many takes this took? Snow and plastic pedals are not a good combo!
