ReUp: Proper Madrid

November 10, 2016

The Proper Bikes crew decided it was due time to jump on Youtube, so they are kicking things off with a video they dropped a year ago on their Vimeo for your viewing pleasure.

If you prefer Vimeo over Youtube, you can watch it where it was originally posted right here.

Last year, Proper decided take a trip on over to Madrid, Spain with their team to explore the city and put its endless spots to good use. The crew had a very productive week and ended up coming through with this phenomenal video with excellent riding, rad spots and some dialed film work. This is a really good watch from start to finish, so hit that play button and enjoy this video once again!

“Filmed and Edit: Toby Goodyear
Additional footage: Janis Cunculis
Additional production: Jamie Cameron

We’d be been planning a trip to Madrid for literally years. It’s a city with too many good rails and we took a crew more than capable of taking advantage of that. Get out the city centre and you’ll find them.

Fortune was one our side. The weather, spots, and riders made for a happy crew. No injuries, few flats, and no broken parts meant we were able to accomplish a lot in a week without getting anywhere close to running out of the seemingly endless set ups.

Dan Foley – Update and Out

November 10, 2016

We’re always pumped when Dan Foley comes through with a new video. Dan has kept the narrative style videos going with this one, and this time around he dialed in his bike with a few new parts from Madera before a session. As always, Dan brings a ton of style to the table and it looks like he even learned a new trick that he’s still dialing in like the rest of his tricks. Hit play and take it all in… Anyone else notice the frame and other parts he’s running? Curious to know if it’s just a hook up or if he has a new sponsor in the works.

Also, if you’re curious about the parts he put on, here’s some details on the Madera Helm sprocket and the Profile Racing Column cranks!

Montana Ricky – Insta Raws #2

November 10, 2016

Montana Ricky is always keeping a steady flow of BMX videos rolling. Here’s his latest Instagram compilation of clips he has been stacking as of late. Plenty of action from skateparks, trails and street spots, along with the laughs as always! Take a look!

“Here’s another week of my bicycle antics and fun times with all my friends. I hope all these clips motivate you to wanna go out and ride. ENJOY!”

Colony BMX – Jack Kelly In California 2016

November 10, 2016

The footage from Colony‘s 3 week team trip to California has been popping up slowly, but today we get an absolute banger we’ve been anticipating from Jack Kelly! Hit play and watch him absolutely SLAY spot after spot. This guy is a grind machine.

“Jack Kelly is the Australian rail savage who you should definitely know about by now. He has all the futuristic rail moves like predator crooks and crankarm to hard 180s, but Jack is not just a nibbler, the dude goes in HARD. Jack recently spent some time in California with his good friend Dizzy, along with a bunch of the Colony / Division squad and banged out this epic belter of a web video. Sit back, relax, and prepare for an NBD ender that’s going to blow your mind.” – Ride BMX

“Jack Kelly is back in California for his 2nd riding adventure and as with last trip he really went in hard. Jack was like a kid in a candy store with all the perfect spots he was treated to and although he took some serious hits along the way, he was able to get back up again and stack some amazing footage for a video part you are going to want to watch again and again.” – Cooper Brownlee

Additional filming by Chris Bracamonte and Tyler Fujii.“

Madera BMX – “10 Year Mixtape” Erik Elstran & Tom Villarreal

November 10, 2016

Madera have begun uploading the individual sections from their “10 Year Mixtape” that dropped online a little while back. This starts off with Erik Elstran and Tom Villarreal‘s section that’s packed full of creativity, big gaps and style! Hit play and enjoy!

“Madera BMX – Erik Elstran/Tom Villarreal Split – 2016 Video

The beginning of 2016 marked 10 years of existence for Madera. From three simple products to a full line of parts, we have grown thanks to two things: the people who have supported us and the riders who represent us. So, to celebrate 10 years of American-made BMX parts, 10 years of riding and traveling, and 10 years of great times, we think it’s fitting to showcase the riders who keep us going in a video made for the people who have kept us going. The team, some old and some new, have worked hard for the last 9 months to do what they do best and share it with all of you who have supported us in the past, continue to support us now, or may support us in the future. Check out what makes us tick, what we are proud to share, and what we hope gets you stoked. Thanks for all of your support and here’s to another 10 years!

Filmed and Edited by Grant Castelluzzo
Additional Filming by Mike Hinkens, Dan Foley, Nate Depatger, and Zach Krejmas.
