We have been loving these “The Ramp II” videos from the Monster Energy crew! It’s crazy how a little kicker ramp can lead to so many gnarly setups and tricks! This time around Greg Illingworth had his way with the ramp where he set it up all over the place from skateparks to street spots, bringing plenty of speed and style to everything he was able to ride! Flybikes dropped a look at the new 2017 Devon Smillie signature Fuego frame in the new matte semi-translucent dark blue color. For this year, it sounds like other than the new color, the only other change to the frame is that it now features a shorter 13″ chainstay length and an additional 20.5″ top tube length.
The Fuego frame is made from full 4130 chromoly tubing with a 75.5-degree head tube angle, 71-degree seat tube angle, 11.75″ bottom bracket height, 9.25″ standover height and a 13″ chainstay length. You can find an offset thickness integrated head tube with dual internal and external gussets on the top and down tubes, multi-butted and tapered top and down tubes, a multi-butted seat tube, Investment Cast seat post clamp with the horizontal cut system, a Mid bottom bracket, Investment Cast seat and chain stay bridges, removable Dylan style brake mounts and Investment Cast dropouts with the removable chain tensioner.
The 2017 Fuego frame comes in this matte semi-translucent dark blue color and matte black in top tube sizes of 20.5″ and 21″. The frame is available through BMX shops and mail-orders that carry Flybikes worlwide and direct from the Flybikes website.
Offset thickness Integrated head tube with dual gussets (internal and external) on the top and down tubes.
The Investment Cast seat stay bridge and the Investment Cast seat post clamp with the Horizontal Cut System which is designed to reduce the amount of torque and pressure put on the frame to hold the seat post in place.
Investment Cast dropouts with the removable chain tensioner.

These BSS (BMX Spine Series) contests that the Dream BMX crew down in Brazil have been putting on always look like such a good time. They have been bouncing around to different malls, throwing the contest right inside of them and drawing some massive crowds. Here’s a look at some of the action that went down at the Via Cafe Garden Shopping mall where plenty of wild riding went down and the crowd was loving every minute of it! Enjoy!

Everyone knows that one rider that isn’t scared to send it and goes absolutely huge on everything from ramps to trails and street. Back in 2001, Eric Walter showed everyone he was definitely that guy when “Blueprint” dropped! 15 years later and the footage kicks just as much ass! Check it out!
“During the 3 years that we filmed for Blue print Eric went hard. So hard that he broke his leg twice. When he wrecks on the roofgap in the begining of his section it was right after he was cleared to ride and somehow that didn’t break his leg!
Eric always was on attack when he rode approaching everything full speed and with hopes of going as high as he could!”

Here’s a look at a new sprocket that the guys over at Division Brand are working on! Not much for information on it right now, but it looks to have a fair amount of machining to cut down on material, 4 sprocket bolt holes and the edge is wrapped with knurling to give it a unique look. We’ll keep you posted as soon as we know the full details! It should be available in a few months!
