Real BMX – Dakota Roche Section

Dakota Roche and Veesh have teamed up again for another incredible BMX video. Check out what Dak cooked up for his X Games “Real BMX” Part!

X Games have released Dakota Roche‘s section. Dakota worked with Veesh on this section and have worked on a TON of videos in the past through Cult over the years, so it’s easy to see these guys were on the same page for this project. Hit play to watch Dak bring his signature style to street spots all over southern California. Big gaps, creative wallrides and one hell of a MASSIVE rooftop grind!

Devon Smillie puts his unreal technical grind combos and freecoaster skills to work for his X Games “Real BMX” video part!

X Games have released Devon Smillie‘s “Real BMX” section! For this video, Devon worked with Mike Manzoori who has been a legendary filmer in BMX and Skate. It’s safe to say teaming these two up make for one hell of a combination, especially since Devon has been working with Mike on the Etnies “Chapters” DVD, so they have a good understanding of how well they work! Hit play to watch Devon crank out some unreal grind and freecoaster action!

GoPro – Kenan Harkin Loves Crocodiles

It’s always interesting seeing what pro riders get into after their BMX career ends. Today, GoPro dropped a video featuring Kenan Harkin giving us a little insight into his new career as a conservationist with animals. This talks a little it about his career in BMX and how it had influenced him even today. Watch as he plays with crocodiles, swims with sharks and more. Looks like he’s doing just fine off his bike to us!

Tall Order – Four Riders Against the Worlds Best

We were wondering when Tall Order would drop their next video from the Source BMX “Battle of Hastings” contest! Here is a look at what went down in practice and the best trick contest for the team! Although they didn’t make it into the final, they were definitely keeping the crowd stoked! Check it!

“The Battle of Hastings is a team contest consisting of 11 teams of 4 riders, competing in 3 rounds. The teams with the most points after 3 rounds would make the 4 team final…..

My team – Joe Jarvis, Jack Clark, Dylan Lewis and myself..

On day one in the first round (the plaza contest) Joe Jarvis and Jack clark scored only 3 points out of the maximum 11. This meant that in round two (the bowl contest) we would need to place as high as possible.
Jack, Dylan and Joe rode amazing in the bowl contest and the atmosphere was amazing!
We scored 8 points out of 11 in the bowl contest but this didn’t give us enough points to reach the 4 team final.
There was one more round to go, the best trick and I nominated Joe Jarvis to ride as it was held in the street area. Joe would need to come 1st place against the very best street riders in the world to earn us enough points….

Battles – Reed Stark VS The Water Gap

Anyone who has watched Reed Sark ride a BMX bike, knows he’s no stranger to sending it on some super gnarly setups. Unfortunately those gnarly setups don’t always go down in the books first try. Here’s a look at Reed kicking his own ass on a crazy water gap he did for his BSD “Transmission” video part!

“Our latest episode of ‘DIG Battles’ comes from the incredible new BSD Transmission DVD and Reed Stark’s wild high speed feeble water gap 180 in Santander, Spain. Reed is renowned for going big and this one was no different. Just check the length of the run up!!

Matty Cranmer on Tall Order

If you caught the latest video from Scotty Cranmer‘s Youtube channel, Freecoaster Game of Add On, you probably already heard the news that Matty Cranmer is now doing it for Tall Order! Today, we got the official word from Bas Keep that you can check out below…

“I met Matty Cranmer 2 years ago in California at the Vans U.S open. Matty came along to the contest with his brother Scotty. He must of only been 17 years old at the time but he ripped around the bowl all weekend looking like he was having the time of his life.
This year at the same contest Matty was ripping around the bowl again and the first thing I thought was how much better he had got since I saw him ride last year. We spent some time hanging out at the event and one day whilst we were all eating lunch it suddenly clicked and I thought it would be amazing to have Matty join ‘Tall Order’. I spoke to his friend Big Boy and his brother Scotty to try to find out whether Matty would be interested. A couple days later after he had killed finals at the U.S open we spoke for a while about ‘Tall Order’ and I had a gut feeling right there that we were on the same page!
When I got back to England Matty and I spoke some more and we both realised we were stoked to officially make it happen! I sent him a box of ‘Tall Order’ parts and some clothing and all was left to do was to officially announce joining the team.
Matty is a humble down to earth kid that rips and I’m beyond excited and proud to welcome him to Tall Order.”
