Red Bull – Wallride Session with Kriss Kyle

Red Bull coming through with a fresh video from some time Kriss Kyle and Alex Donnachie put in hunting down crazy wallride spots in an RV! Mike King and Isaac travelled over 21,000 miles, on a mission to shoot a video which embodied the true meaning of the frame and naturally, they had the time of their lives doing so.

The Getaway frame is made from fully heat-treated 4130 Sanko chromoly tubing with a 75-degree head tube angle, 71-degree seat tube angle, 11.5″ bottom bracket height, 8.5″ standover height and a 13.2″ (slammed) chainstay length. You can find a heat-treated Integrated head tube with drilled gyro tabs, a gusset on the down tube, straight gauge top and down tubes, single butted down tube, Mid bottom bracket, Integrated seat post clamp, custom seat and chainstay bridges, wide rear triangle for 2.40″ tire clearance, laser cut 6mm thick 14mm dropouts and removable brake mounts.

Weird & Revered – Vagabundos En Espana

Just a couple of Canadians riding BMX bikes in Spain… Justin Schwanke made a trip on over to Spain to spend some time soaking up the sunshine, street, spots, skateparks and random antics that he could during his study abroad program. Here’s a look at everything that went down during his stay! Excellent riding, great spots and more… This is a great watch from start to finish. Hit play and check it out!

“Back in May I was in Barcelona for a study abroad program. This was my second time visiting the city. Although I didn’t get to ride as much as I intended due to school commitments, I made a deliberate effort to take in as much as possible this time around. With this video I wanted to capture not only some great travel memories, but also the vibes of the city. I’m a huge fan of live music and Barcelona is rich with street performers. The entirety of the video features street music I filmed when out riding or touring the city with friends. I also spent a great deal of time collecting B-Roll footage. I would often carry a camera in my pocket when wandering around or even commuting to school. As blown out as Barcelona may seem in the BMX world, it truly is a remarkable place; It’s a place filled with a vibrant outdoor culture, weird characters, and of course plenty of spots. I hope this video portrays some of the city’s nuances and perhaps inspires a few more people to experience it for themselves.” – Justin Schwanke / Weird & Revered

BSD X Dig – Meet the Iran BMX Locals

It’s pretty crazy how when you think of Iran, you just think of the crazy wars and everything going on in the Middle East… Honestly, BMX is probably one of the last things that would come to mind for most people. It’s videos like this that give you insight that even in places you might not expect it, BMX is alive and well. Hit play to check out some riding from the AMAZING skatepark they have in Tehran, along with some words from the locals keeping the BMX scene going over there.

“No matter where you go in the world there always seems to be a scene of BMXers making do with the hand they’ve been dealt, and working hard to make the most of what they have on offer. Tehran, Iran is no different and the guys over there kill it despite having very little regular outward help. While Antoine Sabourine was out there in 2015 filming for the DIG X BSD video ‘Lost In Iran’ video he spent some time at Abo Atash skatepark to catch some words and clips with the dudes who made it all happen out there. Truly inspiring.

If you remember, Luc Legrand, Clement Baes, Antony Lille and Antoine Sabourin spent some time in Iran a while back for their LOST IN IRAN video. Now we get some leftover bonus footage that didn’t make it into the first video, which is damn amazing. Check it.

“When you travel to a far away land shrouded by a turbulent history and pretty much solely bad press, you’re going to come away with something, be it good or bad. However, as will be with most cases, things couldn’t have worked out better for BSD’s Luc Legrand, Antony Lille and guest rider, Clement Baes with Iran playing the perfect host to their 2015 adventure. Due to the amount of incredible stuff to see there was an excess of great footage that gave more of the flavour of the trip beyond just the rdiing. Sit back and enjoy some of that extra footage that didn’t make the original cut.

Montreal BMX World Circuit Competition : Real City Spin
