Big Boy Front Flip Drop In

If you have been following Scotty Cranmer‘s videos, there’s a good chance you have been waiting for this one. Big Boy is celebrating 350,000 subscribers by finally pulling off the front flip drop in that’s been kicking his ass (literally) since California… If you forgot, here’s what we’re talking about. We all tried to game plan on the best set up for Big Boy to try the Front flip drop and we came up with a very ghetto design at the incline club skatepark off a 6’5 quarter pipe onto a piece of wood and carpet padding! Big Boy was terrified of trying this but after giving him plenty of motivational speeches he finally got the blood pumping enough to give it a go! He had an insane crash right on his but and destroyed his front wheel in the process so he used Ricky’s front wheel which also carried a front flip spinal curse also! Big Boy loves the subscribers and he continues to try new tricks and better himself in attempt to motivate all of you, all 350,000 of you! We are so thankful for your support and we have plenty more challenges coming your way!”

The crew at Fairdale Bikes have released their 2017 bike range. As expected, they have done another phenomenal job on the Taj Milhelich hybrid bike that mixes 20″ BMX with a 26″ cruiser. The 2017 Taj starts out with a 100% Track Certified chromoly frame, along with a 100% chromoly fork with a one-piece CNC machined steerer tube and full chromoly BMX inspired two-piece handlebars. The rest of the bike is decked out with Fairdale, Odyssey and Sunday Bikes parts walking the line of BMX and road bike.

Kink BMX – Solace 2 Bars

Kink have released the latest version of Tony Hamlin‘s signature Solace bars. The Solace 2 bars are made from 13-butted, Tru Therm post-weld heat-treated chromoly tubing with a 9.25″ rise, 28.75″ width, 2-degrees of upsweep and 12-degrees of backsweep. Since the bars are 13-butted, they have extra material in all of the high stress points to help ensure strength, with the full Tru Therm heat-treatment to double up the strength, these should be able to hold up whatever you throw at them.

We haven’t seen much from Gabe Brooks since he parted ways with Stranger a while back, which is definitely unfortunate since he’s a serious shredder. Red Bull just sent through the sixth episode of Drew Bezanson‘s “The Learning Curve” giving us a look at his voyage into giving downhill mountain bike contests a go. This episode gives us a look at his last real chance to qualify for the Joyride contest he’s been working toward for a few months. Can he do it? Hit play and find out.

BSD – Special Edition Tan Passenger Frame

The crew over at BSD have just released this special edition tan version of Kriss Kyle‘s signature Passenger frame with special graphics based off Kriss’ personal tattoos.

The Passenger frame is made from 100% 4130 chromoly with a 75-degree head tube angle, 69-degree seat tube angle, 11.5″ bottom bracket height, 9″ standover height and a 13.4″ – 13.825″ chainstay length. The frame features an internally relieved Integrated head tube, gussets on the top and down tubes, a Mid bottom bracket, integrated seat post clamp, a wide rear triangle for 2.40″ tire clearance, 7mm thick Investment Cast dropouts and removable brake mounts.

The Special Edition tan Passenger frame is available in 20.2″, 20.5″, 20.8″, 21.1″ and 21.5″ top tube lengths with a weight of 4.9 lbs through BMX shops and mail-orders that carry BSD worldwide now.
