Last night, Sunday Bikes released their full range of 2017 Complete Bikes and, as expected, they turned out phenomenal. The rest of the bike is decked out top to bottom with Sunday Bikes and Odyssey parts.

Cole Seely – Against The Grain

June 23, 2016

It’s always pretty rad to see how BMX can be transitioned from one sport to another. A perfect example would be Cole Seely, who is a professional supercross racer, that also rides BMX for fun and to benefit his motocross riding. Here’s a video where we get a little insight into Cole’s life and how BMX has influenced his racing. Once you watch this, you can clearly see how Cole took some of the style and bike control he learned on a BMX bike into his supercross races. Hit play and check this out. It has a good mix of BMX and motocross riding and some dialed film work. Check it!

“Against the grain–
“Contrary to the natural inclination or feeling of someone or something.”
For most of Cole Seely’s career, he has done just that—gone against what is believed the norm. Instead of chasing around the amateur national circuit and battling against the best in the country, Seely decided to keep things local. Admittedly, it may not have been a choice that helped his young career, but it kept things fun—something that has always been key for him. Flash forward to today, and not much has changed, except for the fact that he’s a top contender in the 2016 Monster Energy Supercross 450 championship, but how? If you were on the outside looking in, it doesn’t make much sense. Everything that he does goes against the grain. Motocross professionals are supposed to live in Southern California’s “Inland Empire.” They’re supposed to be grinding away day-in and day-out on long, grueling road bike rides. That’s the secret to success in the professional ranks, right? Well, not entirely. Instead, you can find the HRC Honda rider fine tuning his skills on a 20-inch bicycle out at Sheep Hills in Orange County, California, and then kicking back at his home on the coastal waters of Laguna.
For Seely, it all goes back to the beginning—keeping things fun.

Props BMX – Chad DeGroot Baco Throwback

June 22, 2016

Props dropped this short but sweet throwback to some of Chad DeGroots classics from the Baco days. This has some flatland, antics, lake jumping and laughs. Take a look!

“A few weeks ago Chad asked me to help put together a little mashup of him to feature for his Decobmx day on Instagram, which was today.

Had the idea for a “Greatest Hits” theme and designed a record label, then filmed it on the turntable for the intro. Nothing too crazy, just a 60 sec little thing made up of some classic Baco footage of Chad going back to the early to late-90s. Damn good times we all had.

The song was featured in the Baco 7 credits from 1996, thought it was a cool throwback.” – Chris Rye
